I'm currently working to get my site, The Animal Forest, up to speed for the European launch of Animal Crossing and Animal Crossing DS.
Anyway, I was wondering how diffrent is the European version from the North American version? Is the only differance is the e-Reader support getting cut out or does it include some of the extra features that were in Animal Forest e+? Does it have other features cut out? I'm also curious specificaly which languages it'll support.
I know it won't be out for 'bout a week an a half, but any info would be helpful.

As it stands (as we've been told) the only difference is that the e-Reader stuff has been removed, and the stuff you could get with the e-Reader has been reprogrammed to be obtainable in other ways.
Whether this means all of the custom shirt designs and all that are in there somewhere I just don't know, but it would be nice.
There are no local holidays - like the Australian version we have to make do with the American events. So no Guy Fawkes night, or Oktoberfest or anything.
But when it comes out I will try and get it as soon as I can and let you know what's changed.

I probably won't get it, since I already have the Australian version of the game... Unless there are some cool new features in the European version (probaby not), then I might get it.

Got my copy through the mail this morning, though it isn't supposed to be released until tomorrow. ;D It's a cool game, although I've pretty much run out of things to do for today. I still have to pay another 4,000 Bells for my house, and I'm tired of shaking trees and picking up seashells. Is there any way of joining in the Sports Fair activities? It seemed a bit strange that it would announce whatever was going on only to have you watch a bunch of animals aimlessley pulling opposite ends of a rope for two hours straight.

Hey, look for a fishing Rod, that'll rack up the Bells when you get it and go fishing for Red Snappers and Barred Knifejaws over by the ocean. You catch them, and keep them in your inventory, and go to Nook's place, and sell them to him (He'll give 3,000 Bells for each Red Snapper, 5,000 for each Barred Knifejaw), and then go to the post office and give the girl your money to pay off the house.
Every time you pay off your debt, you can upgrade it and give the roof a new paint job. I've had the game for years and stopped playing because I basically did everything possible in the game. I have a 3 floor house (If you include the basement) with decorations of a Butterfly and a Fish (You'll find out how to get those later).

Did you see I didn't list the Sea Bass in my post? That's because it's common and cheap.

Apparently that's to do with the old Japanese Kappa legend... it was friendly if you gave it cucumbers. Or so they say.
Kappa... also inspiration for: Kappa Mountain in SMW, and Golduck the Pokemon. Nintendo loves that Kappa...
