I don't get games for the graphics, but if I were to fork out AUD$70-$80, for a GCN game, I'd want it to push the system as far as it could go - otherwise I'd geta GBA game or scout ebay for a NES, SNES or N64 classic.

That said, if the price of AC is down here in AU when I go and get PM2, Pikmin 2 and SMB (GBA) in 3 weeks, then I might get AC as well (it should all last me until I get the DS mid next year - as I'm waitng to see te long-term line-up before I invest in a DS).

I'll definitely consider AC for the DS, but do we know a release date yet???
If it's too far away... maybe I should get AC now, and it'll do until the DS version hits the shelves...

Oh, and as for wearing a dress to pick up a copy of Super Princess Peach... I think it'd look odd for a 6'4" Greek guy to wear a dress... wouldn't go down to well... ;D

There are no release dates announced for Animal Crossing DS yet. We can probably expect Japan to get it early next year, while America will probably be waiting until May or so for the translation.

As for Europe and Australia - we don't even get the DS until March next year, so chances are - unless Nintendo Europe does their good, fast translation work on it, I wouldn't expect it before June or July next year... possibly much later.
