OK, this thread is for Nintendo based rumours that sound like they will probably come true. That means no "Triforce found in teh Ocarina 'o' time!!!" or "Sonic be an secret fighting guy in SSB:M!!!1!!". Nothing like that of any kind, you n00bs.
So this one sounds pretty good: Katamari Damacy coming to Nintendo DS, rumour started by Nintendo Power magazine (or so I hear). What do you think? Believable?

Hmm, Katamari Damacy? That was that PS2 game with some sort of rolling ball-thing, right? Well, that would be cool, I hope the rumour is true then.

It would work... you could roll the ball with the stylus. Hehehe.
SSBM on DS was hinted at by Nintendo of America employees, but I suspect they were just winding up the readers. Cheeky rumour mongers. Besides, Jump Superstars looks like a close fit for the SSBM series, but starring Japanese manga characters... and Nintendo is publishing! Crazy!

I heard they are making rumors about a new SSB game for Revolution when it's released.

SSB on the DS would be quite cool, but for some reason I just don't see it happening. Its a sixth sense thing, you know? We need another SSB at some point though. NEED IT. Need it like a skydiver needs the ground.

Problem with your analogy there... skydivers need the ground, but not too quickly, and the bit before reaching the ground ends up being more exciting than the final product. I'm sure I want a new SSB quickly, and I'm sure it will be better than the wait (though I did rather enjoy the wait for SSBM... making NinDB and everything)

Great analogy there Mr Fry! It puts me in mind of when people say they are afraid of heights: what they really mean is that they are afraid of grounds. Its grounds that kill you Anyway, I feel it time to touch on the big rumour surrounding the new Zelda GC game. Now, thanks to the new trailer people are thinking that animals will play a big part in the game: we see cats, dogs, the horse of course, and Link gets to ride a giant boar as well. Anyway, at the end of the new trailer, a wolf howls at the moon, and for some reason, people have started to say stuff like: Wibble_lad01 says: "wouldn't it be cool if you could, like, CHANGE into that wolf somehow?" jonnyboy59 says: "what, like sum sort ov WereWolf?"sourceofallknowledge says: "Oh yeah! I jus remember-ed that i woz at dis NINTENDO secret staff meetin an' heard from my mate that Shiggsy Miyamoto his-self sed that you could turn into a wolf monster ting in Zelda GC everybody knows it you n00bs of course i'm not fibbing!!!1!" also, people point out that in the "Lens of Truth" bit, you can see some wavy lines in the background after the ghosts appear: obviously this is because you can see smells and sense dead guys when you're a wolf! True or not true?

Well...
Nobody knows yet.
It all sounds very interesting, and IGN has a plethora of info on the topic, but nobody know.
6 weeks and we'll know though... ;D

Waaah! Six weeks! Must come to a decision on some sort of "Future Games" layout! Eek!
Link as a wolf? Nah, I don't see it. I think the howling wolf is just to show off the dark side of the game... notice how few (if any) of the shots take place in direct sunlight. Sunset? Yes. Daylight but inside a gloomy forest? Yes. Darkness? Yes lots.

You Can't Unfreeze Zora's Domain in OoT Err... that's not a rumour... that's the truth. Nobody else mentioned it... kinda irrelevant, don'tcha think?

Besides, Jump Superstars looks like a close fit for the SSBM series, but starring Japanese manga characters... and Nintendo is publishing! Crazy! A new Smash Bros. would be awesome. Smash Bros DS, probably. I dunno if they'd put Sonic in it though. He's not a Nintendo character, so y'know.. hmm. SSBM on the DS would be awesome though, and the graphics would probably be stunning.

Yes, but me searching through websites tells me that it its on the rumor list. Yes it is, but this topic is for plausible rumours, not debunking implausible ones. Besides, I think we should be getting over OoT rumours by now... the game is over 6 years old.
