I see that we are all geeking out about the new smash bros., and we are all giving suggestions to who should appear in the next game. It has probably come into the mind of each of you how it'd be great creating a new fighter. Knowing how most of us enjoy making lists, I ask of you guys, if you could create ANY brand new character (make one up if you want), what would his/her attacks be, and what would he/she look like? (create the attack as if the game was SSBM, and if it was the GameCube controller). I'll post mine up later, I gotta go.

You mean a Nintendo character that actually exists, right? In that case: DIDDY KONG B: Peanut Pistols (guns that fire peanuts) B Smash: Chimpy Charge (charges up for a moment, then charges at opponent with his head) B Up: Rocket Barrels (can fly into the air for a short while) B Down: Simian Slam (basically a butt-slam) Home Stage: Jungle Hijinx Taunt: Juggles (like in DKC2) Alternate Colors: The ones from DK64's multiplayer mode *Note: All moves are from DK64 I'll probably be posting some more soon.

Hakkun (I'm 100% sure that he'll never appear, but ie's ideal to represent NP), shooting blocks all around.
B: Block shoot - Produce a blue block that flies forward, anyone who touches it receives 6% damage. Down-B: Stone, does the same as Kirby's stone ability, does 14~15% damage. Horizontal-B: Ride on a yellow block to do a long jump. Up-B: Same as Horizontal (I hate calling it Smash B since you're not smashing the controller) but this time he does a super high jump with help of a red Makkun.

Now for a really obscure character... PETEY PIRANHA (I'm also sure he won't appear...but I can dream. ) B: Sludge (barfs up that brown sludge, slowing down enemies and damaging them.) B Smash: Leaf Slap (thrusts his arm/leaf at enemies) B Up: Fly (flies, for a short while) B Down: I tried to think of something more original than a ground-pound, but it'll have to do, for now... Taunt: Does that little dance, like in Toadstool Tour

B Smash: Leaf Slap (thrusts his arm/leaf at enemies) That should be a smash A move. B Down: I tried to think of something more original than a ground-pound, but it'll have to do, for now... I don't think he does the ground pounding in any games. Taunt: Does that little dance, like in Toadstool Tour I feel sick... that's the strangest dance that I can call.

Balloon Fighter (not sure how well this would work)
B: blow up a balloon. He can have two balloons blown up at once, but they can be destroyed by opponents.
B up: fly. While he has balloons, he can fly as much as he wants. Tap B to fly like in Balloon Fight. All A attacks and the following two B attacks can be performed as if he were on the ground.
B smash: spark. He shoots a spark that looks like the ones from the clouds in Balloon Fight.
B down: dive attack. He dives down toward enemy with his feet extended. If performed from the ground, he jumps up first before coming down

Okay, so maybe Petey was a bad choice. But how about...
KRYSTAL B: Fire Blaster (uses her staff to shoot fireballs) B Smash: Ice Blaster (shoots an icy wind, occassionaly freezing enemies) B Up: Staff Booster (charges up her staff, and blasts up into the air) B Down: Ground Quake (smashes the ground with her staff, damaging and temporarily stunning enemies)

Wario B: Dragon Cap- Wario puts on his dragon cap and uses a flame attack similar to Bowser's. Up+B: Wario Headbutt - Similar to Super Jump Punch, but instead Wario uses a flying headbutt. Left/Right+B: Blitz Charge - Wario's signature tackle that knocks opponent's forward. Down+B: Wario Cyclone - Yes, Wario's version of Mario and Luigi's Down+B attacks.
Little Mac B: Machine-Gun Fist- Hold down to power-up this rapid punching attack. Up+B: Flying Uppercut- Your basic uppercut that also acts as a triple jump. Left/Right+B: Dash Fist- Uses a quick forward punch. Down+B: Sucker Punch - Counters close-range attacks.

Why are you still suggesting Gamecube-controller movesets when we know the next one will be played using the unknown Revolution pad.

Why are you still suggesting Gamecube-controller movesets when we know the next one will be played using the unknown Revolution pad. Because the question is "What would your imaginary SSBM fighter be like".

Here's one we're all hoping for...
TOAD B: Mushroom (throws a Mushroom with a random effect (freeze, highten damage, shock, etc.)) B Smash: Um...I dunno...any suggestions, guys? B Up: Shroombrella (bursts into the air, then uses his 'hat' to float down) B Down: Pick Up (like in SMB2, picks up enemies and can carry them around and throw them. The opponent will break free after long, though)

If Wario is another Mario clone I will cry for 6 weeks. Well, come on, he's got to share a few moves. He is Bizarro Mario after all.

I dunno, YL, I don't want Toad to have any moves similar to anyone else's.
