By now, you're all aware that Ubisoft has become Nintendo's strongest third party supporter on the Wii, as well as (to quote saimdusan) "our new best friend." Of course, we're all glad to see Nintendo getting that level of support from a third party, but how many of you plan to support Ubisoft in return?
If you've seen any of my rants about third parties snubbing Nintendo because Nintendo fans snub third parties, then you know where I'm going with this. I'm wondering if Ubisoft's faith and effort will go to waste.
Here's the list of launch-window titles to refresh your memory: Blazing Angels: Squadrons of WWII Far Cry: Vengeance GT Pro Series Monster 4x4: World Circuit Open Season Rayman Raving Rabbids Red Steel Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Double Agent
And two more games coming later: Prince of Persia (working title) Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
Ironically, I, myself, don't plan on getting any of these (at least, not right away), but I definitely plan on buying other third party games (Tony Hawk, Metal Slug) at or around launch.

I expect Rayman and PoP to end up in my collection at some point, but I wouldn't say for certain that either will be this year. It depends how rich I feel after buying a new console, and how much time I have after buying Twilight Princess (*drool*).
Ubi Soft have cottoned on to the fact that heavily supporting a console in the first few months of release is the best way to sell as many games as possible. So it's a business decision really. I wouldn't say they're our new best friends - but they do seem to support Nintendo anyway. I mean, they kept feeding us multi-platform GC games long after other developers wandered off.
They also have the benefit of quality. When the supply of Nintendo games is a little thin and I fancy a good third-party title, you could pretty much bet on the one I choose being either Ubi Soft or Sega.

Not quoting me; quoting me quoting IGN.
I definately plan to get at least PoP and Rayman Raving Rabbits. Likely even more.
Oh I forgot, and definately Red Steel.

I'm definately getting Rayman: Raving Rabbids... seen a lot of good stuff about that game. Those rabbids crack me up. And I'll probably pick up Red Steel if it gets good reviews... same goes for Far Cry.
And Fry... +1 awesome level for the signature. Been listening to that song a lot lately... I could eat an octorok!

"Great, I'll get my stuff!" "There's no time. Your sword is enough!"

Its gonna depend on reviews. I'm not going to purposely get, or purposely avoid anything based on whether or not the compnay is supporting or not supporting a console. At the moment, though, none of Ubisoft's stuff seems to really interest me.
Maybe Red Steel and Rayman. Will depend on how good they are / how cheap I am.

Red Steel, definitely...I plan to "test out" the Wiimote's capabilities on that, as it were. I would have gotten Rayman at one point, but Rayman 3 was so bad that it turned me off to Rampaging Rabbids, or whatever.
