Well, today's the day Phantom Hourglass came out in America. Here's a thread I'm hoping will lead to discussion on this game. I can't afford it at the moment so I would like some of your opinions on the quality and continuity of the game.

I'm not sure if I'm getting this yet. I would still like to play Sonic Rush Adventures, and get this in the future. I need to get a DS soon.

I'm not convinced, I am happy with the touch-sensitive only controls. I prefer to use the d-pad in these kind of games.

Edge magazine gave the game a whopping 9 out of 10 (Edge are very picky about awarding high scores - only 5 games have ever got a 10). The main reason for their high score? The control scheme.
They said the controls are perfect, and that all DS games in the future should adopt similar controls. That's pretty high praise coming from a well-respected publication, so I can honestly say I am looking forward to its release very much!

I'm curious about Phantom Hourglass, and I love the fact that it's completely stylus driven, but there's still something about handheld Zelda games that puts me off. Besides, I'm more curious about the other completely stylus driven action-adventure game: Ninja Gaiden: Dragon Sword.

I Have the Game, I'm not still far, but it's pretty nice!! The controls are great, but hard to use... when you run, you must stop and attack, no run and slash , So I get hit the most of the time..

I hope the controls aren't like the stylus controls of Super Mario 64 DS. I found myself using the D-Pad...

You can't use the D-pad in this game so if the controls are like SM64 DS, you're seriously boned.

Except, of course, that this game isn't a third-person platform game, but a birds-eye adventure game... so if the controls ARE the same, someone messed up. And from what I hear, nobody messed up and it's one of the best control schemes ever, so stop whining you lot and go buy it

I'm sitting on the fence on this one. For some reason, I just didn't get excited about this Zelda. And I don't know why...but I'll pick it up sometime, but it'll probably be a while. I'll need to put it on my Christmas list...
