I was going to a flea market with my friend yesterday, she told me of a "retro game store" in her words.
I figured "hmmm, cool"
Then I finally got there... and it was the most amazing game store ever.
It had almost everything.
It easily had over 1000 NES games.
It had a couple hundred SNES
A couple hundred Genesis
Shrinkwrapped games
Sega CD, 32X, Saturn, Dreamcast, Game Gear, Master System games.
It had so much.
Sadly, it had no Virtual Boy selection, but the rest made up for that.
Some highlights of the trip included a couple of Genesis systems, some 32X's, a Master System, several NES's, and some Atari 2600's.
As well as a Saturn.
Then here's the best parts that make it "classic Nintendo"
They had a Top Loader NES
That's right... the holy Top Loader
For about 100 dollars.
Next time I go there, it's mine.
Along with another great item I discovered there.
A Famicom in the box.
Not an NES, a Japanese frickin' Famicom.
They didn't have any FC games, but that's not to be worried, the real goal is to get that system.
I was amazed by the NES selection.
All I bought there was a Genesis game, a Genesis four player adapter, three Master System games, a Sega CD game (it's the "32X CD" game entitled "Corpse Killer", although it didn't include the 32X one), and I was SO close to buying more, but I feared not having enough money.
The prices were a tad steep, but no worries... it had some really rare goodies there.
Even Atari 2600 and 5200 games as well as a tiny ColecoVision selection.
The Famicom was forty dollars, btw.
And... also next time I go there, I'm getting a rare accessory I've been hunting for years...
A SUPER SCOPE
They had a superscope, wrapped up with two SNES games.
One was Super Scope 6, and hopefully the other one is a Super Scope game (maybe Yoshi's Safari perhaps?)
Let's just say.. it was the most amazing game store I ever saw.
I must go back one day.
