Those aren't the numbers I see at all. I see $102.50 for the game and $11.19 shipping. It's interesting that it's become a collectors' item, but not that surprising. Most mail order-exclusive items in popular collectable franchises become much more valuable, especially if they stay sealed like that. Take it from a toy collector.

Well... it's overpriced because people have bid that price. It's their own fault.
Kinda how auction sites work... ;D

Wow, I'm gonna sell my Wario Ware: Touched! VIP Demo. Only a few Europeans have it.

Again: I see $12 for shipping. It must think you're in another country to be getting that estimate. Russia, perhaps?

Forget Pokemon Box. This is the auction to watch! BTW, could any of you lend me about US$15,000?

Wow.
I must remember to get a copy of Electroplankton if I still can, and every other piece of Nintendo software that's ever a mail-order exclusive. ...And the Dalmation edition of Nintendogs, while I'm at it.
I can understand the inflated value these things get. I'd gladly pay $200 for a gold Game Boy Camera, if I could find one, though I'm sure someone else would pay more.
