I found this on Digg. It's a gallery of weird and rare Game Boys. I thought maybe you guys would find it interesting. I actually have one of those clear case original GB's. That Gulf War GB at the end was actually shown in the letters section of Nintendo Power magazine way back in 1991. As far as I know, it's currently still sitting in a glass casing at NoA HQ.

The Gulf War GB has been moved to Nintendo World Store in NYC.

And shows its amazing health by having a demo of GB Tetris play.
Lot of Game Boys there, Astro Boy GB Light and more, even the Nintendo AV NES prototype from 1984.

Here's the original letter printed in Nintendo Power, July 1991, volume 26.

When I replaced my classic Game Boy, I ended up with one with European flags all around the edge of the screen. Very strange, but ultimately nostalgic I forgot how massive and hard to see it was.

I remember reading about the giant Gameboy. It's official name is the Gameman.

I have a Game Boy Light, and I had a clear Play it Loud Game Boy. Colorless clear handhelds tend to look filthy when they're used regularly, and it's impossible to get all the dirt out. Still, I miss that thing.

Here is an excellent website I have found on my travels. It's a Japanese collector, and one thing he collects is all the different kinds of Game Boy. Different designs as well as different models. Click on the GB pics to see his collections so far! It's nuts. I wouldn't have anywhere to put 'em
