Time for another attempt at group fiction, but this time, short stories! Here's my new idea: I pull three names out of a hat at once; someone to start a story, someone to write the middle, and someone to finish it off! Instead of one huge muddled story, we'll end up with lots of great little stories, especially if people want to be included in more than one story! We could potentially get loads of them! Plus, if I announce the three people at the same time, you get the opportunity to send personal messages to each other to agree on ideas for story themes etc OR you can choose to keep each other in the dark and have the satisfaction of knowing who will be challenged to continue your crazy beginning! As far as deadlines are concerned, just wait until the guy before you has finished his/her part before you start writing up your part, simple as that. Oh, and I'll make sure not to have loads of stories being created at once, cuz that would just be confusing for everybody. One at a time is best Anyone interested? Please sign up here!

I'll join, I want to do this again and a smaller format should be better.

I'm in! I shouldn't get lost in a three-part story as long as those parts aren't huge and complicated.

Pro tip: stick to one theme. If you're doing a Mario story, don't shoehorn in every fucking video game character ever made like it seemed like you did last time.

Okay before we start can I just ask which Nintendo series you would like to be represented in the first story? It's mainly aimed at Nester and Smashchu but opinions from the other members would be great. Otherwise i can just randomise and make it harder for them

I would prefer if you didn't get into anything too obscure. I'm not a Pokemon fan, and I've never played Earthbound. The only obscure title I can think of that I wouldn't mind writing for is StarTropics.
Mario, Zelda, Metroid, Donkey Kong, Star Fox, and F-Zero are probably safe for me.

I'd like maybe one or two Pokemon (similar to SSE having Rayquaza).
Dat'd be tight.

I think I got an idea, I hope you like Starfox (you knew that was coming right?) because thats what I'm leaning towards. Maybe we can put in a Pokémon antagonist just for Teev! Expect my entry most likely tommorow night...

As the trees rustled, Fox McCloud looked up from where he was sitting on the grass and gave out a yawn. He lay back, cupping his head with his hands and stared at his Arwing which he landed nearby. He took off his headset and threw it gently to the ground in front of him. As he started to doze under the trees, Fox was awoken and alarmed at a loud beeping sound. He realised someone was trying to contact him through his headset. At first, he ignored it but the sound soon became irritable. He reached out for his headset and accepted the call, pressing the earpiece to his ear. “Fox! This is the Great Fox. We’ve got a major disturbance above Corneria!” Fox immediately recognised the voice as retired Starfox pilot Peppy Hare. “Hey! I’m on vacation here.” Fox shouted. “I’ve just come back from Brawl, give me a break!” “I know Fox but this is quite serious! A giant Pokémon of some sorts is tearing through Corneria! The whole Starfox team is on the case, even Falco is here.” Fox once again lay back on the ground. “So let them deal with it; we’ve faced bigger odds in the past.” At that moment Fox cut all communications with the Great Fox. He sighed, and looked up at the sky but for the next few minutes a nagging voice kept calling to Fox in his head. He wanted a break, but Fox couldn’t let Falco take the bounty for this mission. He hopped up and quickly approached the Arwing. Jumping in, he flicked the ignition and adjusted his headset. The Arwing let out a wail as it blasted into the atmosphere leaving a cloud of dust behind. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
