Hi There, Some time ago I started a blog on the prehistory of Nintendo, showcasing toys and games from the period 1966-1983. I am pretty sure you'll like it. You can find it here: blog.beforemario.com/Below a preview of what you can expect. Please let me know if there are any particular items or topics you would like me to cover. Cheers, Erik

Checked out your website donkeykong, and it's really rich on vintage Nintendo content. I noticed most of these old Nintendo products making cameo appearances in modern Nintendo games as well. Can't wait for more vintage greatness from you, thanks!

Just read the "my collection" section of the site and saw the pictures, holy crap it's HUGGGGGEEEEEE!
Started reading through some of the articles and it's great to see articles/pictures (and video) of the old Nintendo toys and games.
The Ultra Machine DX is a pretty nice looking device.

Looks like Fry's work on the Nintendo Toys & Games section of the site got a shitton easier.

Now this should be an interesting read once I get some time. Nintendo fans know that Nintendo had a different history before videogames, but I've never taken the time to actually research for anything.
There are times in which I wish Nintendo would use its past "experience" (well, to be fair, years have passed since those days) with toy making and use it to make various models of things we Nintendo fans like, like actual SSB-like trophies or Pokémon Figurines. I'd happily pay for a SSBB Samus Trophy and a SSBM Mewtwo Trophy, with a basal area of about 16π (and the respective height of whatever the trophy is about). And after all, don't they want my money?

Why spoiler-text this? And yes, I definitely approve. I'd gladly by those, and they should make ever more of them to boot. They are a huge company indeed, so why not. (I remember this has been brought up before in another topic around here...)

Awesome stuff, and those are some of the best pictures of classic Nintendo merchandise I have ever seen. Are they from your own personal collection?
I didn't realise there were so many models of Eleconga!

I'm sorry I missed this. You demonstrate the devices so nicely in your videos.
I love old toys, how simple they were.
