Votes: 6 Total Games: 114 Comments: - Surprise #1 debut for Fire Emblem: Awakening! - Fire Emblem: Awakening won the award for "Most Point, Least Votes" in 2012. - Lowest voter turnout ever, but I kinda expected that. - Due to the low turnout, games with only one vote have made it into the top 25 for the first time. - Only one Wii U game and three 3DS games made the list. And that wraps up the fourth edition of the NinDB Top 25! Thanks, everyone!

This list is so hilarious, we sure are a weird random group of folks with our choices. xD
So glad FE13 being the lead this year. Got voted by 5 out of 6, and pretty much roflstomped the competition.
And funny how my lone votes for Pokemon R/S and B/W put them both into the list. Just a planned!
Feeling like making a drawing relating this, for some reason.
Edit: 200th post. Yeah, I rarely come to say anything here...

Awesome. It's fun to see statistics that come from a pool of rather specialized hobbyists. The results obviously don't really mean much in the statistic sense, but it sure is fun. Observations: - Jiggly's list is filled with Japaanese-styled games with a few classics mixed in. Also, please try FE3~10 if you've got the time, really.
- Nester is a typical "Nintendo console owner who plays everything" guy, with mostly classic titles and, for some reason, sport games.
- 8 bit is similar, but his list is closer to what I would have picked.
- My list has random old 3rd party (Konami and Bandai) titles and contemporary and future Nintendo games, and NES/Famicom has no place in my list (too technically inferior, the original SMB3 for example can't even save). Also, 7 of my list of 25 games are Japan-only titles.
- Leon has mostly SRPGs, RPGs, adventure games and strategy games. Some of them are remakes of classics. That's just what I expectd, though I'm a bit surprised to see no Kaga-era FE titles (unless you count FE12 for being an FE3/BSFE remake).
- Shadrio's list is also Nintendo-oriented. Super Metroid and FE13 seem to be something that most of us can agree on. And... never completed SMW 100%? Seriously? It's the easiest Mario ever!
- Personally, I think the entry most worth mentioning is F-ZERO GX. It's new to the list, but it isn't a new game and didn't get in because of a single person's preference.
- Prediction for the 5th Top 25: Super Metroid will stay at the top, Smash Bros. 3DS and Wii U will become new favorites, and I'll return as a voter and continue to bring up games you guys have never heard of.

With all the love and praise The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds got from the press and how Fire Emblem: Awakening pretty much flew under the radar in comparison, funny to see those two in switched places in popularity on our lists. I'm still quite surprised Awakening even made it to the top, I wonder how long it can last there. And... never completed SMW 100%? Seriously? It's the easiest Mario ever! Heh, honestly can't really play that game for more than 30 minutes without losing interest, since I've played it so many times. I know that I've made it to the world beyond Star... World? I know I got to the point where the koopas are wearing masks, but I don't think I found every exit in the game. Also, leave the term "easiest" to the New series, your going to make Yoshi cry :C I wonder what our lists would be like if they weren't just relegated to games on Nintendo consoles. Granted, mine would be pretty similar anyway

It's not a terribly accurate list, being that there were only six votes. Last time there were 11. This kind of poll works out better when a lot of people participate. I tweeted at Fry about three times, and he said he would vote, but I guess he never got around to it. But it was never meant to be a scientific survey anyway. It's just for fun. (Not "for glory." ) I'm the only one who didn't vote for Fire Emblem: Awakening because I don't have a 3DS and haven't played it. I think it's also kinda interesting that the only Wii U game on the list is DKC Tropical Freeze, and not Super Mario 3D World (which no one even voted for in the first place).

Heheh, "For Fun"...
Since I saw so much love Super Metroid, I think I'd recommend everyone with Metroid Super ZeroMission, a reinventing of Super Metroid that takes it up a notch. I really did enjoy that game, it was basically playing something akin to a Super Metroid 2. You can find it at the Metroid Database.
Heck, if anything, I'm downloading it again to play it some more.

I would've voted if there was more time I've been too busy to stay on the internet for more than half an hour recently, heh. I think I'd recommend everyone with Metroid Super ZeroMission, a reinventing of Super Metroid that takes it up a notch. Whoa, like a GBA remake? Sounds cool, I'll check it out.

No, it's a ROM patch for the SNES game. The entire game is essentially a new game, that uses Super Metroid assets. I had actually forgotten how different it was, since I hadn't played it in over a year, but I remember it being great and having some memorable moments. The endgame was top notch, and balls to the wall tough, as far as I remember. Don't think there was a Zero Suit segment, though.
Even more off topic (and I promise this is the last time), if they want to bring back metroid to the eyes of the consumer, they should just make a Super Metroid Zero Mission for the 3DS. I'd buy it even if it wouldn't have much new stuff.

Sorry, I was on holiday in Spain with no internet. I got as far as copying my last list ready to go through and make any changes... Although, aside from finding somewhere for NES Remix and the latest Phoenix Wright... I'm not sure I've spent enough time with a lot of recent titles.
Hell, I didn't think A Link Between Worlds was the best thing ever. Super Mario 3D World has not gripped me at all (just like its 3DS predecessor didn't). I got to the second gym in Pokemon X before I simply stopped playing. I haven't played Fire Emblem Awakening, Animal Crossing: New Leaf or any of the other games everyone has been raving about. The most fun I've had was with Luigi's Mansion 2, and even then I gave up at the clock boss (temporarily, of course - I'll come back to it some day).
So... I'm just not sure I could contribute. Still I do keep meaning to try Fire Emblem: Awakening. Everyone has been raving about it...
