Wait, it's no joke. There is at least four references cited on the article. But the information provided in the references are very contradictory of one another, so I don't know much about it. Does anyone have any further information?

I think it was canned. If not that, it was a joke.

Sounds legit enough. Check their website out though - a lot of films in production, but hardly any of them have been released (despite some of those press releases claiming these game-movies have been in production since 2002). Their last newspost was mid-2006.
They have released Ghost Rider, and their site still lists Tekken and Castlevania as being due for 2009. And that IGN news article states that Pac-Man was confirmed but no details were released.
But "live action" seems a bit of a stretch. It sounds like something got a bit confused. I seriously don't see how that would work.

All of those videos were BRILLIANT! Extra points for you all!
I suspect the live-action thing was an error thanks to Castlevania and Tekken being live-action. One of those sources also says it is animated. That would make a lot more sense.
EDIT on 10th June 2007 Using the power of FORUM-MAGIC I have reverted this topic to "on-topic" status. In other words, I deleted any and all posts to do with thedamnarchive's trolling, regardless of poster (yes, I deleted my own).
...so back to the hilarious live-action Pac-Man please!

I would want a live-action Super Smash Bros. movie to look exactly like this. ;D
