Basically, I felt like playing a new game of Pokemon Sapphire, so I thought I'd trade all my Sapphire Pokemon over to LG. Simple enough, right? Well, not really.
The only way I could figure out how to do this is to catch a bunch of really weak pokemon and trade them for the Sapph Pokemon. But this takes forever.
I have 39 Sapph Pokemon left to trade over, with 6 of those I'm willing to trade back (trade them over so the register on the Pokedex, but then I don't want 'em). But thats still 33 stupid pokemon to catch.
So is there an easier way of doing this? I don't have any of the GCN Pokemon games, but could possibly hire one if it made things much easier.
Any ideas? I'm really sick of doing this.
NUMBER OF TIMES I MISSPELT POKEMON WHILE WRITING THIS: 3
EDIT: Bah, nevermind. Just caught about 30 (hopefully 33) Pidgeys and Rattatas. So off I go to the trade room. Still interested to now if theres an easier way though - I may move all of my LG pokemon back to Sapph eventually (if I ever wanted to start a new LG file).
Well, at least I finally found a use for my lv.10 Dunsparce.
EDIT 2: You wont believe this (if you're a pokemon geek and know what I'm talking about - but hey, if you're not, you probably wont have read this far anyway) - I only caught 27 of them, so I grabbed some more Pokeballs and set of to the field with just Dunsparce. And the first Pokemon that appears? lv. 50 Raikou. Luckily I had my Master Ball, so now I have a lv. 50 Raikou. But I just thought that was crazy enough to be of mild interest.
Up to about 27, now.

I used Pokemon Stadium 2 to trade my Red Pokemon into Silver. I don't think Colloseum would help, but Pokemon Box should. I could never understand why you can't just give a Pokemon to someone.

Well its all done, and I started again. Didn't really feel like it after all that, though, but it gives me something to do on the 8 hour car trip to Melbourne, as I discovered today how hard it is to play WW Touched in a car, and I think WW Twisted would be impossible.
BTW, I started with a Treeko if anybody is interested.

Best thing to do is to copy them into something like Pokemon Box and then move them out - but that requires you to also own Pokemon Box...... which I do ;D

I don't even know if Pokemon box came out here, but I'd be willing to pay, I dunno, $1 for it.

Even if you had a pokemon Box I don't think it would work, cause if you sent your pokemon from the GBA to the Pokemon box, only the original trainer with the id can withdraw these pokemon.

Box has its own reserve boxes that everyone shares. What other reason would there be to use box other than to move from game to game with ease?

You need to stop multiple posting. Try writing more than one sentence at a time.
And Pokemon Box is a Gamecube disc and mem card that lets you sort and store Pokemon. Why do I need to explain it when everybody seems to know what I'm talking about?
