Stop making all these stupid posts. You're on a NINTENDO fan forum. Stop stating the bleeding obvious.
And yes... the X-Box 360 will play X-Box games and the PS3 will play PS1 and PS2 games. The Revolution will play Gamecube games, but you can also DOWNLOAD classic NES, SNES and N64 games. It won't be backwards compatible... you can't just play any NES, SNES or N64 game in it... only the ones made available for download.
Which hopefully will be through some kind of Stars Catalogue style scheme. Buy a game... get some more free! Whoo!

Hey, that's not a bad idea... finally a use for Star Points, besides backgrounds, screensavers, icons, and the occasional quickly-sold-out GBA SP or DS. The good thing about downloadable games is that there's an infinite supply of it

If they need to understand, they can read one of the other posts where we already talk about the Revolution. Besides... your topic header has NOTHING to do with the post.
If you want to be informative and helpful, say something worth discussing. Don't just make a sweeping statement like "Rev. wins" and then completely fail to explain why you think that's the case.
That's the number 1 rule here... only post if you actually have something interesting to say. Turning up and telling a community of massive Nintendo fans something we all read over 2 months ago doesn't qualify.

I'd imagine with such a small amount of bandwidth each NES and SNES game takes up, it would be easy enough for the games to stay available for the duration of the Revolution's shelf-life, if nothing else.
