Is there any way to scan the mini-boss that guards the Power Bombs in Metroid Prime? I'm only asking this as I want to get 100% of the scans in the normal game before I attempt Hard Mode.

I can't remember which boss that is... but I'm pretty sure you can scan pretty much every enemy in the game. I have 100% of everything, but I just can't beat Metroid Prime.  |

In Prime or Prime 2? Because if I remember correctly there's one boss in Prime 2 that you must battle in morph ball mode that you can scan just before the morph ball tunnel, in a tank next to it. I know you said Prime, but I can't remember there being any bosses in Prime that you had to fight in Morph Ball mode, in which case you should be able to scan it normally.
So, in conclsuion, I dunno.

If its in Prime 1, aren't all battles in first person view? I thought there were only Morph Ball boss battles in Prime 2. I'm probably wrong, though.

No you cant scan him but hes just a normel drone, just hes invisible, you meet them though out the game(not insivible of course hes the only one that is).
