People say that Nintendo consoles lack gaphic... But do you think it's true?
I think I'm going to disagree. It's true that it may not have massive 3D graphics, but in other terms, it's good.
It holds the best 2D graphics ever, and its video output and style is unique. So... I agree that Nintendo consoles lack 3D graphic power, but not graphics in general.
What do you think?

I think the gamecube has good graphics in 2D and 3D.

Graphics don't matter! But yeah, the graphics are fine as they are.

INTV is right, graphics don't matter... But still, the GameCube has great 3D and 2D graphics (though I haven't seen much 2D on the GameCube).
I always hate it when people judge consoles by their power. "Ooh, but teh X-B0x is teh betterr!!!11omg" Alright, so maybe the X-Box is a more powerful console, but does it have good games?

Yes, the Xbox has good games. But they're all multi-platform. Okay, I liked two exclusive Xbox games, but that's just me. The GameCube has good enough graphics, and it has the same exact graphical capabilities as PS2.

Of course graphics matter. Just because they're only one ingredient in the video game recipe doesn't mean they're not important. You still need all of the ingredients to get the whole product.
In fact, graphics are a very prominent ingredient because it's usually the first thing people notice. (How often do game media sites post sound samples in place of screen shots?) Good graphics help provide the setting and atmosphere, which if very important for today's games. But that's for another discussion...
As for Nintendo and graphics, I think the 'Cube has quite a bit more visual horsepower than it gets credit for. I don't think developers take advantage of it often because they don't want to pour development costs into a game for the 'Cube simply because it probably won't sell as well. Even Nintendo, itself, has been putting an emphasis on modest production values.

Graphically PS2 is the worst (followed by PSP) 128-bit console.
I personally think Nintendo should promote more 2D games.

Yes, newer Nintendo consoles have good graphics. Look at Twilight Princess and Resi4 on Gamecube... give the Metroid Prime Hunters demo a try and tell me the DS has bad graphics.
The biggest problem we're facing today, as Nintendo fans, is that Nintendo is targeting its marketing to other people... people who don't really think much about graphics, can't quite get to grips with a typical Control Pad... and so on. It sounds like Nintendo's gone insane... but that's because the videogaming fanbase is shrinking - and Nintendo is leading the way for recruiting new gamers. To current gamer ears, it sounds like Nintendo's gone nuts.
But I have confidence that they will also be pushing the system as hard as it can to bring gamers back to Nintendo. After all... Ninty makes the best games, right?

Right!
I mean, if I'm still playing Super Mario Bros. 15 years after I first got it, and Zelda still hasn't gotten stale for me (or so many other people), then that's saying something about how good Nintendo's games really are...
