DK: King of Swing was very poorly rated over here, but I loved everything about it apart from finger cramp.
Edge is usually a reliable indicator of good games, though... but I still don't trust their ratings. Their words say more than the score, and it still sounds like a game I will buy after reading the review.

Never trust other ratings. They're usually biased. The only perfect rating is your own. True, but, the thing is, I can't buy every single game, so I need something to tell me whether its worth buying. And, in my case, it was previews and ratings that lead me to quite a few games (which I love) in my collection (and one I'm not too fond of - sorry Pikmin). I might sacrifice Geist for Advance Wars DS now, simply because AWDS is coming out next month and I have no idea when Geist is coming. And of course AWDS is supposed to be good.

Geist did come at on August 15th. I brought on August 17th. Nintendo Power (the American magazine published by Nintendo) gave it 5.0 out of 10. But it is better than that in my opinion.

Nintendo Power gave it a 5.0?! Does their scale even go down that far? Seriously, I'm surprised. I find that Nintendo's official magazine tends to skew a little high for exclusives. While other reviews were mixed, I expected Nintendo Power to play up the creativity more than other reviews and be more forgiving of the flaws than other reviews.
