I put it here because Pokemon Mini is out in 2001 to 2002, which fall into the "After GBA" category. If Fry thinks this should belong to Classic or General, I apologise for making you to move this thread. In www.nintendo.co.jp/n09/index.html you can see two consoles called Pocket Pikachu and Pocket Pikachu Color Kin Gin Toissho. Looking at their release dates, 1998 and 1999, it seems that they are not Pokemon Mini, and these two things aren't mentioned here at all. Now, can anyone make things clear? Are there 4 portable Pokemon-exclusive consoles in total?

I have the Pocket Pikachu and Pocket Pikachu Color... they came out worldwide. They are basically virtual pet Pikachus (like Tamagotchis) mixed with a pedometer that counts your steps. You then feed the "Watts" accumulated from your steps to Pikachu.
The Color version was much the same, except in colour, it had an extra little game to play with Pikachu, and you could also use an infra-red port on the device to send items to Pokemon Gold, Silver and Crystal (using the GBC's infra red port).
They were developed by Jupiter, and the devices won awards for promoting healthy living. The Color one also appears in Animal Crossing as an item you may be asked to collect.
They aren't Pokemon Mini... they are standalone systems with a single "game" inside. But how does that make 4 Pokemon-exclusive systems? Surely that's only 3?

My Pocket Pikachu Color is Pocket Pikachu 2 GS. (no, it's not an old computer!).
