See, without a sarcastic smiley, or a grinning smiley DIU, I can't tell if you're playing along with the joke or if you thought I was suggesting a serious plotline.
I'll assume you realised that I was using the "Super Mario Sunshine" plot...
(Forums... so hard to get meaning across though them...)

Its genreally a safe bet to assume everything I say is sarcastic, since most of the time it probably is. But no, I was serious, thats the worst plot I've ever heard..... unless they include a giant, mutated Pirahna Plant who is later hated by fans when he appears in Zelda Kart, Zelda Golf, Zelda Tennis and Zelda Baseball because there are so many 'more deserving' characters, like the obscure red fairy that appears in one level of Link's Awakining if you play it on a GBA SP facing backward.

Correction. A giant mutated DEKU BABA who is called Baba Bill (or Deku Dan?). And to a lesser extent, a giant mutated octorok.
And maybe Emperor Poe from the spooky game Zelda's Mansion.

Baba Bill... Deku Dan... Hahaha! ;D Does anybody here think that we'll get to see a video clip of anything for the Revolution? Or will it just be a speech about the industry, with no new news... thus, disappointing the loyal and patient Nintendo fans who will be given the old "We'll tell you more before the end of the year... honest!" line? I really hope we hear some concrete and NEW info - I'd like to see the controller, but I'd settle for simply a bunch of details. I hope for mention of un-announced titles and possibly a launch line-up. AND... I really want to see a video clip of next-gen Mario... but I know that this is unlikely... By the way... You forgot "Super Zelda Stikers"...

All the game media sites are doing their best to hype up that Nintendo will reveal the controller when actually all we know is that Iwata will be speaking there. If and when Iwata doesn't reveal anything, the hordes of angry Nintendo fans will renounce their fandom for a week.

I would say more like three days... at least for the dedicated fanboys. Then Miyamoto will say something cryptic, somewhere down the line and we'll love them all over again.
Like marriage counselling.

You also forgot "Zelda's Dance Dance Revolution" and "Zelda Parties 1-10". Come on guys, lets end this kind of talk. It makes me feel discouraged.

Thats it's name! And technically its unknown if Petey appears in Strikers, and I don't think he appears in the Mario Parties or DDR - hence why those games weren't included in Deku Dan's game list. I knew what I was doing, technically. Besides, you all seem to be forgetting the appearances of Link, Zelda and [insert Zelda equivalent of Luigi here - that stumped me] in EA's NBA and SSX games. And of course Link's Pinball World.

Not forgetting "classic" Zelda games such as Link is Missing and Epona's Carrot. Messing aside, I hope nintendo don't go back to the side-scrolling-RPG-type Zelda seen in Zelda 2.

Shut up you. I've been praying for another Zelda II game since forever.

Messing aside, I hope nintendo don't go back to the side-scrolling-RPG-type Zelda seen in Zelda 2. They did make one! Ocassionally in Four Swords Adventures, you'll see "side-scrolling" stages... though not very well programmed (Just same as top-view plus gravity, duh. I hoped they'd make another engine for the side scrolling part!) Oh yeah, count G&W Zelda as well. now 3 Zelda sidescrolling adventures!

Well... don't Link's Awakening and both Oracle games have side scrolling sections exactly like the ones in FSA?

Not to mention the original Zelda... you had to side-scroll when you went underground to collect weapons, and sometimes to take a shortcut through a dungeon.
But I felt going 3D was a suitable payoff for appeasing the Zelda I and (much rarer) Zelda II fans. In fact, OoT has more in common with Z2 than any other Zeldas in my eyes.
