Right, seeing the new Revolution controller has sent most gamers dizzy with ideas... here is a place for you to spew from your brain hole onto your shiny interweb box.
Imagine the games. Imagine all new games. Imagine how existing games could be used. After all, it's what Satoru wanted!!
PS. If you want to continue talking about the controller itself, rather than imagining games, go to the other topic.

I'll imagine.... a multiplayer (I hope it's not 4 - but 8 or 16 instead) single-button rythm game. It should be funny.
Or place the controller horizontally, and start some "Famicom Wars" - 4P competition on Famicom games! (In other words, modify Famicom games so that they are played with 4 players)
Or.... just came up with this, but how about playing Kuru Kuru Kururin by spinning the controller for spinning speed adjusting and~ duh, still the good ol' D-pad for movement.

One of the Revolution demos was based on Kuru Kuru Kururin... but the control mechanism was slightly different to what you described. It has been said that a Donkey Kong game is being made for the system. I would like this to be a Jungle Beat style game without the hand sores. It won't be as 'primal' as whacking bongos, but by flicking and twisting the controller and using the B trigger alone you could operate in a similar mechanic. I would, however, love to see this work in 3D. I just have no idea how that might actually work... of course it might just mean zooming way back from the action, much like Jungle Beat had to in a 2D plain... but hey, just a thought.

I'd prefer a DK platformer like the ones made by Rare..but without having collect a tonne of stuff, like in DK64.

Well, they obviously have to make a new Wario Ware. I'd also like to see a Star Fox game. Move the remote to move the Arwing, A to shoot, B for Bomb, make a rolling motion with the remote to do a Barrel Roll. A new Nazo no Murasame Jou where you use the remote as a sword would be cool. Punch Out would be cool too. Use two remotes, one for each hand. I haven't played Another Code, but I bet it would work well with this controller.

SPIDERMAN: I read someone mention taking two of the pointers in hand for precision webslinging/ wallcrawling. An alternate control scheme is to have one pointer with the nunchaku peripheral attached. Then you would navigate the ground just as easily as walls (with the analog stick), and still use the pointer for web-slinging/ attacks.
JET GRIND RADIO: They could have the pointer slip into a simple and cheap can-shaped peripheral for realistic can control (for throwies, burners). Also you could take it out and tag directly on the screen as if it were a marker.
BATMAN: It could come with a a simple utility belt with four buttons. By holding down each button you would modify what gadget the pointer was onscreen. For example, batarang; grappling hook; smoke grenades; batmobile keyfob. Or you could have context sensitive tools like a gas mask (hold the pointer up to your face), or lock-picks (twist and jiggle the pointer delicately).

A new Mario platformer, where the controller is used to morph the terrain around Mario as you control Mario. So, it would be based on some premise that Mario can now morph his surroundings to his advantage (or something), and you'd use the controller to drag the terrain down into a ditch shape, into which a bunch of enemies would lose their footing and fall... or you'd grab the ground in front of Mario and pull it up to shield him from a barrage of enemies, or something. I thought that would be kind of new...

A game where someone (Kirby, maybe? Or even Bowser Jr) uses a giant paintbrush, and you draw things needed to complete the levels - if theres a mountain, you could draw a plane to fly over it... or a grappling hook to climb it.... or a trampoline to jump over it - its up to you. I originally came up with that idea for the DS, but it would work on the Rev, too, and you'd have a bit more control of the items once you've drawn it.

My imagination just went wild after seeing how the revolution controller workt. I would love to see these games: - A new Doshin game would be nice, you could alter the terrain easily with the rev. - Punchout is a dead cert in my opinion. - I would love to see a new Second Sight-like game. Using telekinesis would be awesome.
I could go on like this all day! And I imagine developers can do so too!

The future is good, my friends ;D Seriously, all the ideas posted here are very good. I myself can't really think of any cool Revolution game ideas at the moment... well, besides lots and lots of rail shooters, but that's not really original (yeah, I love rail shooters.)

A zelda game where you can actually SWORDFIGHT!
This coolness would also work with Star Wars - Lightsabers and Smash Bros - certain items such as that flower rod thing.

...and Smash Bros - certain items such as that flower rod thing. Hey, moving the controller would work pretty good too if the Master Hand would be a playable character. For example, move the controller downwards quickly to make the Master Hand slam the ground... I highly doubt Master Hand will be a playable character in SSB for the Revolution, but it would be pretty darn cool.

FPS: Move with the nunchuck analogue (from now on I will call it the nunchuck) aim with the Pointer, shoot with A, swap weopans with B.
Strategy: Left Click = A, Right Click = B, Move Mouse = Move Pointer
Adventure: Move with nunchuck, check things out with Pointer, A action button, B secondary button.
Action: Pointer move camera, A lock on, Pointer while locked on uses weopon, B weopan switch, A while locked on unlock on.
Fighting: No more stupid button combos to execute moves! Just use the pointer with the buttons and you will be able to execute many combos! With SSB, so freaking easy! Hasn't it occured to you that we could use either the nunchuck or the Dpad to move, B+A for special attacks? Maybe moving with the pointer, A+B attacks, b/x+a/y jumps? There are so many dfifferent ways to configure the buttons for SSB I cant even post them all!
RPGs and Action-RPGs: They could easily incorperate many of the controlls from action and adventure games.
Racing: Turning and Cornering with the pointer, using special attacks/items with A, Accelerate simply by pushing quickly forward, pull back quickly brake.
Flying: Move around with the pointer, A shoot, B shoot special, x/b swap special, Pointer push forward quickly boost, pull back quickly brake, a/y change camera angle. How would you barrel roll in StarFox? Move to the side and roll the controller! A U turn? Easy! The controller is basically the airplane itself! Just do a U turn with the pointer! Flip? Do a flip! Easy! You could easily pull of arial acrobatics instead of using the c stick! Even more acrobatics could be added!
Mini-games: The possibilities are limitless! Zelda: Revolution will rock, you know how Ocarina of Time had all those mini-games? Imagine fishing! Imagine Bombchu Bowling! Mario Party also comes to mind. Mario Party for the Rev will certainly be good.
