What is so great about Game Boy Micro. It cannot play GB and GBC games. Or can it play multiplayer with other Game Boys including the original and Sp. IT cant hook up to gamecube, or the e-reader. The SP is better and cheaper. They just realeased a new SP with a back light for and it is cheaper.
More features+cheap price> less features+$100

That is so true.Thank you for saying that I was waiting for a person to say that. Also there is not a big difrence of the size compareing to the GBA SP.The GBA SP can also fit in to your pockets. The system really sucks.Well that is my opinion ;D

GB Micro is being marketed as a separate system (4th pillar?) from the GBA SP...at least, in Nintendo's ads. That's probably why it lacks all of those features - it's more for style than practicalness, in my opinion. I don't see why Nintendo did it either, but hey, whatever works.

They're cashing in on the iPod boom by making the GBA as tiny as possible. Of course that means cutting out several functions.
But then they're not trying to market it to the kind of people who own Gamecubes - those people probably all have SPs already. They're selling them to people who want a discreet little gaming system they can drop in the pocket. The SP is pocket sized too, but it takes up a whole pocket by itself - which means I can't carry it around with me most of the time.

Well, I actually don't really know what's the point about GBM - probably Famicom fans will like that , but I doubt it.
It seems that Nintendo already forgot those old gamers....

....................Thanks for your quotation.
But once again, will this non-gamer attempt (and to a certain extent, ex-gamer) be successful? At least I haven't seen people playing with GBMs now - a contrast to I always see people holding SPs and sometimes DS's when taking buses.

I bet you $10 at least one person in your town likes Nintendo, and has a GCN / GBA / DS in their house somewhere that they aren't willing to admit they have.

My brother just got a Gameboy Micro. It's small, sleek, and the screen is beautiful, so it's sure to attract some of that ipod crowd. However, if you already have an SP, I don't see the point in getting one.

Looking at screens from the original SP vs. Micro, the screens a hell of alot brighter, and the alone almost makes it worth buying a Micro for if you didn't have a GBA already, or just had a standard GBA.
... Or, it would have have been, if Nintendo had not released a new SP with the same brightness. Sometimes Nintendo's business decisions really confuse me.

I am not getting a GBM. No. Never. Not in this lifetime. GBASP is enough for me thanks.
