;D
Much like the popular DS topic of the same name... what is in your Gamecube right now?
Mine probably has Double-Dash!! in it as I picked it up for a quick and easy play last night (had a bit of a mad day)... but it's mostly been containing Geist.

GB Player! I was testing out my flash cart with some new NES ROM hacks Yeah, I'm an evil fiend who actually owns one of those... The Cube out in our common room (I share a suite at school with 7 other guys) has Mario DDR in it, last I checked.

Let's see.... I have Kirby Air Ride, 2 memory cards (one main and one backup, pretty much like the weekly hard disk backup that I'm doing now), and plugged in is one GC-GBA Cable, the AV line and the Diggital output line.

Crikey, I actually had to check which game was in my GameCube... I haven't played on it for quite a while Seems like it has Super Mario Sunshine in it... I'd been playing Super Mario 64 DS a lot and I wanted some more Mario platformy goodness.

Last week was Jeffrey's birthday (the giraffe from Toys R Us), so there was a promotion where you buy 2 games, and get one free. So I got Super Mario Sunshine, Mario Kart Double Dash, and Mario Power Tennis. In the mean time, Mario Sunshine is in my Gamecube.

I usually don't keep a game in my 'Cube when I'm not playing it. But if there were a game in there, it would be SSX: On Tour. On an off-topic rant, I think it's cool that EA added the Mario Bros. and Peach, Princess of Toadstool, but I would've liked to see some of the 1080 gang in there. I mean, there were two other spaces for secret characters. If they can put Little Mac in Fight Night: Round 2, they could've put Ricky and Akari in SSX:OT instead of these other two generic secret characters that aren't too exciting. But nevermind. That's not what I came here to talk about.

Its currently Smash Bros. Melee, because I had someone over on the weekend, but before that it was Viewtiful Joe.

Animal Crossing, one standard controller, one set of DK Bongos, one generic GBA-GCN link, one Animal Crossing memory card, and a Game Boy Player which contains no game. That's vast details on my GameCube.

Details?! How about this?:
1 Indigo / Clear controller (slot 1), two indigo controllers (slot 2 and 3), one set of DK Bongos (slot 4), one Memory Card 251 (slot 1), one Memory Card 59 (slot 2), one GB Player (no game). Next to it is my slightly stuffed Spice Orange controller. Just above it, next to my TV, are boxes for RE4 coolectors edition, Viewtiful Joe and SSBM.
There - details of my Cube and the Cube related things directly around it.

My cube now holds a GB Player disc, and my GB Player holds Yoshi's Island, since I discovered I had only unlocked one of the extra stages. Well, that two now, but I noticed that it said "Extra 2 opeeed".... how can my favourite game have a spelling mistake?! Arghhh!

how can my favourite game have a spelling mistake?! Arghhh! If it's any consolation, I don't remember seeing a mistake like that in the original SNES version, but then that was probably about 10 years ago. Currently, my 'Cube is feeding on a mixed diet of SSX: On Tour, Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance and Dance Dance Revolution: Mario Mix. I really like the graphics in DDR:MM. It's very sharp and well defined, and watching Mario bust a move is really cute. Right up there with watching him do Monster tricks in SSX.

If it's any consolation, I don't remember seeing a mistake like that in the original SNES version, but then that was probably about 10 years ago. Well, the Extra levels weren't in the SNES version, so if thats the only place it occurs then it wouldn't be a problem for the SNES version. But I have a sneaking suspicion that it also comes up on one of the secret levels, too, and that could mean it appears on the SNES version too. I suppose it is the same game that mispelt Yoshi for the Japanese release, though.
