I had a little (too much) time on my hands, so here are some interesting statistics on all the collections that have been posted so far.
Average number of Gamecube games owned: 28 Average number of 1st party published games: 18 (77%) Average number of 3rd party games: 7 (23%) Average number of 3rd party exclusive games: 2 (6%) Average number of games with Mario as a lead character: 6 (31%)
Note: These statistics are not scientific.

You heard the grand master, cakes all round! (I prefer jam sponge or battenberg for future reference) My list will be getting slightly longer thanks to a quick-talking salesman: I recently returned from a browsing trip to find that I've somehow preordered Twilight Princess, no money down. He blinded me with science, I tells ya!! And double reward points

I do. I need to find an excuse for missing tomorrow's Chemistry test. And I love your signature Corey Woods. EDIT: I prefer Carrot cake.

All right, one carrot cake with extra snot coming up. And I do mean "coming up." danipepino, thanks for the complement! I was wondering when someone would catch on to that. Anyway, back on topic. Based on my non-scientific stats, I see that people tend to have a higher percentage of Mario games than third party games in their collection. And the exclusive third party is even worse. I guess this is why Nintendo doesn't have terribly good third party support and cranks out games with Mario like there's no tomorrow.

Hey... Nintendo is a business. People complain that they make too many Mario games, then go out and buy them all anyway. People complain they don't get enough third party support, and then don't buy any third party games. I personally prefer the sensible route of recognising that Nintendo makes better games than most companies, and thus buying them to further my own enjoyment.... until they release something like Yoshi's Universal Gravitation, that is

I personally prefer the sensible route of recognising that Nintendo makes better games than most companies, and thus buying them to further my own enjoyment.... until they release something like Yoshi's Universal Gravitation, that is I don't blame Nintendo for exploiting Mario, or the lack of third party support. I blame the fans. There are a lot of excellent third party games that are either not released on the Gamecube, or don't sell as well if they are (even if they're exclusive). Nintendo has bent over backwards to get good third party support for the 'Cube, including getting exclusive installments to franchises like Resident Evil, Final Fantasy, Metal Gear Solid and Mega Man. So, since when did Nintendo fans become so afraid of buying third party software?

What's wrong with Yoshi's Universal Gravitation? Well... play it and find out. The graphics are awful and they overcrowd the screen, the controls are awful and the tilt sensor is really poorly integrated (it's not the same kind of sensor as used in other tilt games).
