Just trying to gauge some opinions on how these forums operate. Are you happy with the way it is, or would you prefer it if I split the Classic and Contemporary forums into their respective systems. The DS board would then become the main board for wifi Friend Codes as well.
I've also included a sort of halfway house. The Classic board is quiet at the best of times, and expanding it into 4 or 5 extra forums might just leave them dead... but it might rejuvinate them too.
Just a thought. Let me know what you think.

If any splitting was to occur, I'd propose...
Classic Handheld (DS/GBA) Gamecube / Revolution
I think it is fine as is, though.

I would have to say that Masamune's idea sounds best, but you could split it thus-wise: Classic Handheld stuff, Classic Home Console stuff, Contemporary Handheld stuff, and Contemporary Home Console stuff. Four boards, no waiting Any more would be too many.

I'm gonna say keep them as is.
First of all, I don't think the forums are that busy (which is actually what I like about them), so it's not like topics are getting lost.
Second, more topics means more opportunity for posts to be off-topic. Between classic and contemporary, I can figure out where I should post something. But I get confused enough if I want to start a thread that deals with a little bit of both. If you decide to split the forums up by system, then it would help to also add a "General Nintendo" category for when the lines get blury, but again, that would just spread things even thinner.
So I think it's best to keep it simple.

I think classic and contempary should be merged together because they both talk about games and there wouldn't be so many different sections on the main forum page

I think the current setup works best, though I'm not afraid of trying something new.

I think keeping it as this current state is the best idea.Actually I do think the contemporary board is more busier, but that is not busy enough to have it split into parts.

I think it works fine how it is, too.
