Ok, so what was Krystal's Past in Dinosaur Planet, we all know the it was for the N64 in Europe created by Rare, after that Rare teamed up with Microsoft and Krystal ended up joing StarFoX and go on Peppy's Spot.

I think you've got the ordering a little confused. Krystal was going to be the hero of Dinosaur Planet when it was on the N64, but it was changed into a Star Fox game and moved to the Gamecube.
Krystal became the damsel in distress rather than the hero for the final release of the game as Star Fox Adventures.
THEN Rare left Nintendo and joined Microsoft Game Studios. However, Nintendo retained all rights to any characters that had appeared in the Donkey Kong Country series or Starfox Adventures. Rare lost Krystal to Nintendo, and Namco are squeezing her into Star Fox Assault.

Was Krystal always a fox then?

Well... yeah, I guess so. Though I assumed she was a cat of some sort. I don't think the many members of the Lylat System are that bothered by out-of-species "bonding".
I dread to think what combination of beings created Slippy!

Krystal was always going to be a fox-like creature, but she started off looking a lot different. When they decided to make it a StarFox game her look was changed to fit better with the existing characters... There's some original concept art sketches out there somewhere...

Here's what the old Krystal looked like: and in colour and here's Rares blurb on her background The original male lead in the game was called Sabre and looked like this: and here is his blurb The actual models used in the game look a lot more "super deformed" than the concept art, as seen here: Sabre and Tricky Krystal Although General Scales look almost exactly like the Gamecube Version

Maybe they could incorporate elements from both SFA as it was originaly intended to be and what we ulitimately got to make her "canonical" backstory
I can't believe I care so much about straightening out SFA's storyline. I started from the begging again a while ago and I'm surprised I didn't notice how incredibly lame the dialogue is the first time I played it.

I also heard that Katt Monroe was a replacement to the 2 Missing Members Miyu and Fay of Star Fox 2 (Unreleased).
