It's my second favourite 3DS title so far. What's your first favorite? I finally got around to buying Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing. I got the 360 version with Banjo & Kazooie in it, so I was pretty excited about it! I also like the Samba de Amigo tracks.

My top fav? Anyone visiting this forum regularly would know. It's Fire Emblem: Awakening. I happen to be a fan of the series.

I have a friend who loves the series a ton, but he doesn't have a lot of money, and he's torn up between getting a Wii U or a 3DS because there are quite a few things he's looking forward to on both. He really likes Zelda, too, which makes it worse because there are new Zelda games coming out on both. He's also a fan of Shin Megami Tensei, so the PlayStation 4 might be something he'll want when Persona 5 comes around... he hates it when new generations roll out. He really hates it. On-topic, I'm also playing through Generations again, and revisiting AC: Brotherhood.

So many games and systems to choose from. It can be annoying, I can tell. If your friend is into Shin Megami Tensei, he can consider a 3DS. SMT IV is coming to the 3DS. Wii U will get stuff like a new Zelda and SMT x FE, but those won't come out in a while. If he wants a system right now, I'll still say 3DS.

He almost can't believe that there's going to be an SMT-FE crossover. Pretty sure he thought I was joking when I told him about it.

I just finished a fairly thorough playthrough of the original Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles. I love the way this game tells its story. Not by shoving heavy-handed cutscenes in your face, or with forced set pieces, but by presenting the world to you, and letting you experience it and piece things together for yourself. People complain about linearity and hand-holding in games today, but this game doesn't spell everything out for you. That's one of its many charms.

I've been playing the GCN Animal Crossing again. That being said, If anyone would be nice enough to send some fruit other than oranges to Spud in MoonMoon I'd appreciate that. EDIT: For those who might have forgotten, Animal Crossing on GCN uses the weird password thing where you can go to Tom Nook and say "Hear Code" or something like that. I'm trying to play legit.

Got Resident Evil Revelations PS3 from a friend for my upcoming b-day, and it's fun. A nice combination of the recent games and the classic games. Also, the third attempt at a cruise ship based RE. I guess they had to succeed sooner or late.r

Replaying Fire Emblem Awakening for a second time on Classic-Hard, only this time doing a bit of an 'old school' FE run without resetting. By that I mean: - No resetting whatsoever. Who croaked, stays croaked (and no intentional Game Over to restart either) - When finishing a story chapter, only one side-story or parley mission allowed before going to the next one - Free in using all stores, but if an enemy team blocks it and you already parley'd before that, tough - No DLC content whatsoever This way there's no intensive EXP/money grinding and the game actually stays challenging in later missions. I was doing rather well at the beginning, but as the enemy second classes showed up 1 to 3 characters been biting the dust every mission. (Enemies appearing and attacking immediately doesn't help either.) I somehow managed to get Severa, but I'm not going to bother with the other silver weapon infested child missions. With these rules those streetpass My Units actually come in handy too! (And I don't feel bad about using them this playthrough because they cost buckets of money, so it´s a good tradeoff.) Some punk Sniper managed to crit my Virion and I really want an archer longbowing stuff. New MU archer was coming along nicely until I had to sacrifise her for my remaining healers to make an escape, damnit! So I just spent all my remaining money on another MU archer.
..At this rate I don't think I'll even make it to the final mission. But it's fun!

All this talk about Fire Emblem Awakening is depressing me. Someday.. Anyway, I just got the lousy ending in Demon's Crest. I did not expect to take Phalanx down in my current state. XD

I finished Pandora's Tower last night. I actually did get hit with the Tower 11/12 freezing glitch, but I found my own easy method around it.
I got the best ending right off the bat. I don't know if I want to go back to see the other endings, tho. I'd actually feel a little bad ignoring Elena on purpose.

I don't care about storyline routes that aren't the best if I can get the best in my first attempt. I prefer having a non-perfect collection of storyline branches over killing/not recruiting/ignoring someone.
I'm currently playing nothing, other than grinding in Fire Emblem Awakening (only a 14th Fire Emblem may have the potential to put an end to this) and struggling with Luigi's Mansion 2. Otherwise, I'm waiting for whatever 3DS games that may catch my attention, the earliest of which is third-party title Umihara Kawase (though I'm not sure if I should get it).
I'm waiting for A Link to the Past 2 as well. It doesn't look like it will continue to feature THIEF, the hero in ALttP, the Oracle games and Link's Awakening, but rather a different Link in the same world. I'd feel a bit disappointed if this is the case, but if anything, I won't miss a game that's directly related to ALttP.

Super Metroid (Wii VC version). I was inspired by the "Y Cant Metroid Crawl?" meme that I decided to play it for the first time ever. I beat the game in about 8 hours and 30 minutes and my collecting rate was over 80%. I really like it a lot.

My 3DS charger has been busted for a while, but since my friend let me borrow hers, I've been able to get some activity going with it again!

Just started playing A Link to the Past again, as a "preparation" for A Link Between Worlds.
