Interesting trip to GameStop. Entered on a mission to get Mario Kart 7. Left with Kid Icarus Uprising because MK7 was apparently sold out and one of my friends really likes it. So now I'm playing that. And I love it.
(still grumpy without MK7 though)

BUMP!
Completed the cel shaded and comic book inspired FPS XIII (thirteen), it's nothing amazing or reveltionary, has some nice weapons with secondary fire features, but your not missing out on anything that can't be witnissed from a Let's Play.
Started playing Machinarium, fun little adventure game, it's nice having puzzles that take up just a single screen, but they can still get quite challengeing.
On Wii been playing Rayman Origins, which is a fun platformer and also Bit.Trip Complete (consisting of Beat, Core, Void, Runner, Fate and Flux), with it's new difficulty levels (such as easy mode) I was able to get up to the final boss of Beat before losing, went and completed Void (on easy) and played Runner and still can't get past the first boss battle (fuck this game needs checkpoints)

Been playing a mess of things lately, but in particular, Sin & Punishment: Star Successor. Working on some score runs. Normal, Stage 3, Kachi: Currently #10 in the US (#22 worldwide) Normal, Stage 4, Kachi: Currently #8 in the US (#19 worldwide) These are my only top ten rankings, I think. Kinda cool, tho.

Whoa. I doubt I'd enter any top ranking lists myself, and definitely not in a rail shooting game. Congrats, I guess.

Sin & Punishment 2 score update! All of these were done on Normal mode with Kachi: Stage 4: 35,186,810 - #5 in the US, #7 in North America, #11 worldwide Stage 5: 15,182,374 - #5 in the US, #7 in NA, #12 worldwide Full game (lost at stage 6): 143,900,467 - #5 in the US, #9 in NA, #14 worldwide Is it safe to say I'm a decent Kachi player? In other news, I also finished Wonder Boy III: The Dragon's Trap without abusing the Hades Armor glitch. That is, I beat it for the first time without cheating.

Just recently got my first two Wii U games (despite owning the console for months now), Rayman Legends and The Wonderful 101.
While I have played some of the former, I've been hooked onto TW101, thanks to its charming style and satisfying gameplay. I've already beaten it and moved onto getting higher scores, something I generally don't end up doing. I really recommend the game, and while the demo did help in convincing me to get it, the demo is very docile compared to the rest of the games, so expect many shenanigans.
As for Rayman Legends, it's been fun, but I've decided to wait for the chance to play the game in multiplayer. Single player is fun and all, but it seems more like a game that would be much more fun with others to play with.

I just got all the star coins in New Super Mario Bros U Well, that's slow. Do you have 3D World? 'Cause you're getting LOTS to do in that game if you're aiming for 100%.

Well, that's slow. Do you have 3D World? 'Cause you're getting LOTS to do in that game if you're aiming for 100%. Hey, I only got the game two weeks ago. Then again, it did take me about four years to get all the star coins in NSMB Wii. I don't plan on getting 3D World any time soon. Maybe when the price comes down in about five years or so.

I'm now working on The Wonderful 101, and wow, it's awesome! I mean, I barely understand what's going on half the time, but it's awesome! If Pikmin was a brawler instead of a strategy game, it would be W101.

Damn haven't posted here in a while. Haven't really been playing that many games over this past month, played Pandora's Tower in November and it's pretty cool, but I'm moved house and need to set up my Wii again, also having a full time job (Yes, that course did work) reduces game playing, and also spending other free time learning to draw. (Need to buy NEW Art Academy: Lessons for Everyone soon) Started playing Monaco: What's yours is mine this week, and it's pretty fun running around carrying out heists. Tonight just started playing with my brand new 3DS XL, played around with Mii Maker, Camera, Sound and Face Raiders (My face, is so bad looking). Need to set up online stuff and I'll try playing Luigi's Mansion 2 (so happy to get this) tommorow (Will also get a free downloadble copy of Super Mario 3D Land because of it). Earlier today went around having to trade Snow Globe Winter Sale cards from Steam and finally crafted them into a Level 1 badge, sold 3 excess cards on the Steam market place, less than 1 minute later, 43 cents appears in my Steam Wallet. Holy shit that was fast.

Hey guys, Happy 2014! So, I have been playing my new games I got for Christmas.
Super Mario 3D World... I'm loving it! I'm very happy that I can play the whole game as Toad only. I was getting tired of Mario and Luigi getting all the attention while Toad is neglected. Toad is the new Luigi! Also, I unlocked Rosalina and she's really fun... it's also fun to play the whole game with Toad & Peach... she's the ruler and he's her bodyguard so I figured they should be defending their home and people instead of relying on Mario and Luigi... and it's also fun to play as a team of Peach and Rosalina... makes the game feel more accessible to little girls than it already is. Nintendo really needs to make more Mario platformer games that feature Toad and Peach as playable characters.
Pikmin 3... very gorgeous... I love this game so much... I finished the story mode in 40 game days... I collected all 66 fruits... and the final boss is really tough... I also downloaded the extra levels for the mission mode. I also like that the planet looks like it is Earth but set over 250 million years in the future... the continents actually resemble Ultima Pangaea. I absolutely love the GamePad support... I am constantly looking at the map, ordering the explorers to go here and there, confirming the fruit locations, and checking what the Pikmin are doing and where the idle ones are at. I wish Nintendo would remake Pikmin 1+2 for the Wii U with GamePad support.
The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds... I am really enjoying this game. I just cleared the first two dungeons and now I must go to the Lost Woods to get the Master Sword... I like that everything is familiar and yet feels new. The controls are so much better than the Zelda DS games. The ability to turn into a 2D painting is pretty cool and actually makes me come up with new ways to navigate dungeons and solve puzzles.
Pokemon X & Y... I didn't get very far... I haven't even cleared the first gym yet... I'm currently grinding all my available Pokemon till they are at least level 10 before I take on the first gym... I have Chespin in X and I plan to get Charmander. I have Fennekin in Y and I plan to get Squirtle. I have Torchic in both games. I'm alternating between X and Y every other day... but I really like the new animations... makes the battles more exciting and not boring... I'm tired of looking at static sprites on a blank background. This is also my first time playing Pokemon since Emerald.
EarthBound... This is the first game I downloaded from eShop. It seems interesting so far and I didn't even leave Onett yet. This is actually my first time playing EarthBound. I thought the dialogue during battles were pretty silly... so Ness fights the enemies while his dog is barking at the enemies or attacking them and Pokey is crying and apologizing the whole time? Can't wait to see what's in store for me...
DuckTales: Remastered... this is the second game I downloaded from eShop. It is also my first time playing DuckTales. I just cleared out the Amazon level. I really like it so far... I can see why it was one of the best NES games of all time... I like the pogo stick. It's pretty useful. I also like the dialogue... actually reminds me of the 1980s cartoon... I'm so old!!!
New Super Mario Bros. U + New Super Luigi U... they came bundled with my Wii U... I still haven't played them yet as I'm busy with other games...

A whole bunch of crap lately. Picked up a 2DS, got Pokemon X and Luigi's Mansion 2. Loving both of them! A bunch of stuff on Steam thanks to the glorious sales- Transformers: War for Cybertron, Typing of the Dead, the Bioshocks, the bit.trips, Ducktales.... Lots of good in this neighborhood right now.

Finished The Wonderful 101 a couple nights ago. Really good game, but... I honestly thought it went on for way too long. If it was about half the length, it would've been a nice, tight action game, and replaying it would be much more compelling. Plus, it starts off in high gear, and then constantly tries to top itself, but I got kind of immune to the spectacle after several hours. It was exhausting.
Still worth adding to your collection, though, if you're interested. You'll get plenty of bang for your buck.
