Im sure everyone can't wait for the new "smash bros. revolution" game but I just wanted to know...Who is your favourite character from Smash Bros 64 and Smash Bros Melee and why....? For me it's: SMASH BROS 64 - Fox McCloud Reason - Speedy and has a good range of physical and long range attacks, I could always rely on fox to get the job done! SMASH BROS MELEE - Marth He's still my first choice whenever I play SSBM. Swift, powerful and has some great moves. He also has counter-attack which is also great! Oh yeh, did I mention he is from the awesome 'Fire Emblem series' LOL  |

SSB: Kirby. He's just got such a wide variety of attacks, and can recover easily. I also quite like playing with Jigglypuff. SSBM: Shiek. She's fast and strong. Simple enough  |

Jump Superstars (since it's basically a clone of Smash Bros.): DON PACHI!, Naruto, and Ichigo. Who would've thought that a game with 150 characters or so could be SOOO awesome?!

SSB64: Link (back when I played the 64 I was very repetitive and just pressed ^B all the time. I didn't exactly get enough time to learn how to <i>not</i> do that, I didn't even own the game, I just rented it from a video store), Fox (same reason) and Pikachu (same reason, except with vB)
SSBM:
1. Young Link, Fox McCloud, Pikachu, Kirby, Luigi, Marth
2. Falco Lombardi, Link, Mewtwo, Mario, Ness, Roy, Dr. Mario, Zelda, Shiek, Samus, Captain Falcon

Fav chara: Let's see.... anyone faster than Mario. I don't really mind about power, since all I do is pick up stuff and throw 'em. This applies to both SSB and SSBM. For the fav - the fav of the favs, maybe Luigi (SSB) and G&W/Luigi/Fox/Kirby/YL (SSBM)... I use these 5 most frequent! SSBM: Shiek, Mirai Link, Ganondorf Dragmire, Fox McCloud, Mario, Prince Roy, Prince Marth, Captain Falcon. Not sure if you can refer Roy as a "Prince". At least Eliwood is not a king. |

Interesting to hear some of the suggestions. Though I prefer faster characters, than powerful characters, I can see the benefit from all points of view.
According to the Roy trophy on SSBM, he was the son of a lord, thus not a prince, assuming the role of leader of the Pharae Army after his father fell ill. Iv never played the 'Fire Emblem' with Roy in it so I wudnt know...?

Phew, well Im glad we cleared that up, funnily enough I thought that they were brothers when I first played SSBM (understandable seems as though I had only played the more recent FE games at the time of release). As I say (going back to the orginal topic) , Marth is one of my best fighters and also got me back into FE games. (And I recently completed FE:Sacred Stones too  ) |
