SSB: probably Captain Falcon. Never had the chance to play this game much, unfortunately. SSBM: Mario or Link (I love his down+a attack).

Ok we've established the best characters, now what about the worst characters and why? It would be interesting to see what you come up with.
SSB: DK - Sorry DK fans but im not a great fan of slow and bulky characters, although he does do some bone breaking damage if he catches you.
SSBM: Iv got three; 1. Pichu - too light, can only take about 80% before being taken off. Also, a lot of it's attacks damage itself. 2. Game and Watch - has got some strong attacks, especially 'oil panic' or whatever it is. I just can't use him well and that "beeping" noise gets annoying after a while. 3. Bowser - Can anyone use bowser? There's something about him, he doesn't like me fighting with him?
Anyways, what do you guys think? ;D

Pichu is actually one of my best characters in SSBM... Just goes to show that one person's worst can easily be another person's favourite. I'll be sad if he's not in SSB3.

Worst characters? Okay...
SSB: Donkey Kong - he's too damn slow, and all of his attacks require him to be at close range. If you're against a good player, it's hard to complete a move before having the smack-down applied to you. Funnily enough... he's much better in SSBM.
SSBM: Probably Peach or Bowser... for much the same reasons as above - Peach is a little faster, but also very easily knocked away.

Maybe I was a bit harsh about Pichu, Iv won many a match with Pichu, and I can see the advantages with this character too.
As for him being in SSBRevolution...Im pretty sure they will include all of the characters from SSMB cuz I think they will take all opinions against favourite/worst characters into account. Who knows, maybe they'll include Raichu (though I sincerely hope NOT! ;D)
Anyways...Later guys!

I hope they DON'T include Raichu. Who needs three electric mice running around? Not me! ;D

I've seen alot of people who want a Plusle/Minun combo, too. Why?!

Actually, that does seem pretty likely... ever since Ruby & Sapphire those two have been popping up everywhere.
Can't think of any decent way that they'd work, though...

I swear... if the fans were put in charge of the Super Smash Bros. lineup, it would be dreadful.
Pit should have been included in SSBM, and I think Wario should have been as well... but when people just start listing secondary characters from popular game series (Meta Knight, Ridley, Diddy Kong, King Dedede, Plusle and frickin' Minun!!) then they're kind of flying in the face of one of the biggest draws to the SSB games...
They don't just give you an opportunity to face off against characters you already know - they educate you about characters you might never have heard of before. Do you really think we in the West would have ever received a Fire Emblem game if it wasn't for SSBM's Roy and Marth appearances whetting your appetite?
It's like a big marketing tool that also plays a damn good fighting game.

That said, I do think that some of the game series are under-represented in SSBM, and the inclusion of the characters mentioned would go a long way to reverse that. Except for Plusle and Minin, as there is enough pokemon representaion already.

I disagree with you somewhat, Fryguy. Why I'd love some obscure (or not so obscure) heroes from games that haven't been represented, I'd also love for them to further represent the games currently in (well, most of them - Ice Climbers and Game & Watch don't need second characters). Metaknight, Ridley, Diddy Kong (perhaps with Dixie for some tag team antics) are all solid choices. Basically, its all about balance. Sure, chuck in King K. Rool, but don't forget Pit. Use Dedede, but don't forget Captain Olimar. Hey, Tingle would make a great character - but so would Starfy. Its all about making a balanced list of characters in every possible way.
Oh yeah, and I'm all for more Pokemon, just not for more electric pokes. I mean, come on, wheres the Fire / Water / Grass pokemon? Sceptile would be a great new generation Pokemon to chuck in, or, if they're looking for older ones, Charizard and Blastoise would be superb.

If they can do both, then great.
Although I am expecting some characters to actually be cut from the roster this time around. Roy might not make it back, but a new Fire Emblem hero probably will - maybe Ness will be booted in favour of the Mother 3 hero (though both would be nice) - and I REALLY think any "clones" without the possibility of individual merits (Pichu, Dr. Mario, Young Link, etc.) should be jettisoned, and maybe Luigi could finally be his own man!
Realistically, I'd be surprised if Starfy and Olimar didn't show up. I've already been surprised twice that Wario and Pit weren't included in SSB and SSBM - so it'd be nice if they were finally brought in.
But that's just the icing of what I realistically expect to see. I want the delicious CAKE of retro/obscure characters galore!!

I can't picture anyone being removed, but, if someone was, I doubt it'd be Young Link. Make him look cel-shaded, give him 'magical' moves rather than the traditonal weapon based moves (you know things like the Gust Jar, Wind Waker, etc, rather than traditional weapons like the bow and the boomerang), and, viola! A new character!
