Hey all, Metroid Prime Hunters is coming very soon, so whos getting it and what do you think of the WI-FI features? It sounds pretty cool and its been a while since the last Metroid title. It is indeed true. I'm not sure if I'm getting it yet. I have the demo, but I had some trouble controlling it.

Thanks for that and I agree that I found the controls a little difficult to use also.
Nintendo have definetly taken the touch screen to new levels with this title, and as I have noticed with the demo version, a lot of the navigation and inventory is controlled using the touch screen.

5th of May for a European release, it looks like.
I'm looking forward to it. I'm glad the DS has a healthy range of "normal" games to compliment the quirky games that come with it.
And the idea of expanding the characters in the Metroid universe is interesting. I wonder if we'll see any more of them in the future.

As I understand it, that was kind of the idea, so some of the other bounty hunters might pop up again. I totally plan to buy it since Metroid is one of my top favorite Nintendo series. But I might pick up Tetris DS first. I've had kind of a hankering for some Tetris. Or maybe I'll just pick them both up at the same time. |

As for the Wi-fi features you all might be pleased. First there will be voice chat, and second there will be a disconnection penalty. Everyone start out with 100% and goes down when you disconnect. You can choose if you want to play with that person or not. It will also tell if it was intentional(wont count power cut off or bad Wi-fi connection).

We have been waiting for this game for so long that it has to be good. Judging from the MP and MP2 style gameplay I think nintendo are onto a real winner here. The multiplayer WI-FI and active voice chat is a really good idea, especially for motivating you into the battle.
This is a great addition to the WI-FI mulitplayer. (The amount of times that people disconnect when they are losing on Mario Kart DS!!! Grrr)
Lets hope we see titles with this kind of feature in future games...

First Hunt from 2004. I got it off eBay. I think I read an interview with one of the developers somewhere that said the game has changed so much since First Hunt that it's almost like night and day. |

OMG! Hopefully it's good! Yeah, if it wasnt any less of a difference between night and day I would be dissapointed. FH doesn't have much to it, it's just fun. |
