A rumor's going around that says Pilotwings will be on the Revolution. Below is a scan from EGM that started the rumor. So what do you think? www.gametab.com/news/529088/Personally, I'm a bit skeptical. Here's what I see wrong with this picture: - "Bits of Q" has suddenly become "What's the Deal?"
- www.1up.com has red lines around it. They weren't there last month.
- The caption by the fox has a yellow box. EGM always uses red.
- The caption in "What's the Deal?" also uses yellow.
- At the bottom, they say 2006 Fifa World Cup Germany will be released for, like, every sysyem known to man.

It also states Mario Paint is coming for the DS and Revolution. Both would be nice...as for the little changes, redesigns do happen from time to time with magazines.

I think Pilotwings would make an excellent launchgame, perfectly capable of showing off the features that make the revolution unique. The N64 version was a pretty sweet game...

I got my copy of Electronic Gaming Monthly today, and it is legit. Exact same thing as the scan. The Q-Man is usually pretty accurate, so I'd count on finding out more about the new Pilot Wings and Mario Paint DS at E3.

I think when Nintendo showed the Super Mario Sunshine-themed biplane game at the last E3, it was always going to be likely that this would lead to a range of flying titles. I would be surprised if a new StarFox wasn't also already on the cards. Steering with the right hand... shooting with the left. Mmm... bliss.

Man I'd like a new Starfox, ecpecally if it was online. I hope it would be more like Starfox64. Assault was a cool game but it didn't capture the 64 magic. Also a Pilotwings game would be a good launch title and I think we'll see it at E3.
The one thing that spoked me alittle was that they said FFXII would be a PS3 exclusive. It may not happen since it would anger loyal fans who then would import the title for the PS2 they allready have. Well have to wait for that.

Possible related news: Hudson are developing an unnamed flight game exclusively for the Rev. It could be some other game though, and not Pilotwings related at all.
