They didn't have it at this year's E3. Does anyone know if its still in production?

It's looking increasingly unlikely. Nothing has been confirmed or denied, however, so I'm holding onto it until the (inevitable) Wii announcement adds yet another cancelled game to HAL's long list.

Well, at Rainbow Resort, the buzz around the speculation cooler (as opposed to the rumor mill ) is that they are releasing the DS Kirby to tide us over while they port Kirby GC to Wii. OR they are still making it for GC, and just need more time (we're still getting TP and crazy awesome Super Paper Mario, so the console isn't dead yet!)

I would suspect its headed to Wii now. In fact, as a piece of factless speculation, I'd say Nintendo purposely kept it out because it uses a traditional controller and they wanted the focus to be on the Wiimote, much like they left SSBB off the floor and didn't show it until later (the difference being that SSB makes Nintendo fans have heart spasms, so it had to be there).

And I was looking forward to a decent Kirby game on the GC...oh well.

Im all for Kirby GC to be carried over to Wii, I would be interested to see how the remote will work with the different abilities that Kirby can copy. Maybe the return of some old favourite mini-games will make use of the controller for the future installments?
Yeah, A GC Kirby would a great addition to the GC library because we haven't had a new Kirby game for a while (bar the GBA ones). The DS ones will do me just fine for the moment but I hope they release some more information about our pink friend a little sooner

Guess that might explain the low quality graphics. All in all I just want it, GC or Wii. It looked like a return to Kirby Super Star.

Actually I think it could be cancelled. It is not uncommon that a Kirby game being cancelled, which brought me to have this feeling.
Or just like Kirby Air Ride, just wait for a couple of years and it'll die... and another game by thhe same name (Kirby GC? On a console other than GC?) may come out.
