This is what I have been wondering. Surely a Memory Card 1019 is really a good thing for a GC games collector, or someone who likes to store up memories like SSBM shots and MKDD ghosts. But why it is not avalible in Japan? SD Memory Card Adaptor is not a substitute of 1019. It cannot be used to save game data. I need a big, official memory card. My unofficial ones keep corrupting. I haven't lost any data yet, but it's annoying to keep resetting the console to make it appear again.

Thanks for telling me about this Memory Card 1019!
Is there an EU version?

I have a big memory card. It has around 1000 block of memory, doesn't corrupt, and costed around $20 at the time. It was either made by Pelican or WildKat. I can't be bothered to get up and check it right now.

Huh, I have an unofficial 59 back to when I don't have much money (relatively compared to now, although at that time I could still easily grab an official 1019), and that works perfectly. However, as a Nintneod "collector" (not simply player), I insist to have an official one after the 59 gets "maxed out". That's why my 1019 now.
And I can't find 251 or 1019 at Nintendo Europe's site - only 59. I suggest Fry to look for a Memory Card 1019 import - you need it. It's really a great feeling to have one.

Harry Potter has a lot to answer for. Now they all corrupt all of the time. Blah!

Agreed. I would lose everything except Pokemon Colosseum and Animal Crossing. I need an official memory card...
Too bad you can't copy data from Pokémon XD or F-Zero GX (not sure why on that last one).

Arcade stuff? So you have to go and spend $2 a pop on the FZero AX machine yourself?
I have a 251, a 59 and an unoffical one. The unofficial one is used for backups, and, though it doesn't always read straight way, so far its been quite helpful. I still have about 30 blocks on my 251, anyway, after I deleted all my MKDD. I really can't see me using that much more memory, to be honest.

Is the SD Memory Card Adapter is International or Japanese only?

Japan (version) only, but you can easilty carry some of them out of Japan, of course.
