As I promised, here's the beginning of my E3 Nintendo third party coverage. At first, I was thinking of cramming everything into a single thread, but I thought it would be better if there was room to talk about individual games. I won't make a thread for every game, just the notable ones. But maybe I'll do a wrap-up or something over the weekend. Red Steel (Ubisoft) Official site: www.redsteelgame.com/IGN Preview: revolution.ign.com/articles/705/705854p1.htmlGameTrailers: www.gametrailers.com/gamepage.php?id=2624I'm not normally interested in first person shooters, but this one got my attention. Great graphics, lots of detail, and it sounds like it'll be a lot of fun to control! I like how Nintendo really seems to have gotten behind it since they actually had a couple of guys from Ubisoft France show it off at the press conference. What do you guys think of it?

Definitely something to push if they want to hit a more "meh, Nintendo WAS cool" kinda crowd. Definitely.

By being the first Wii game to be officially unveiled, I guess Nintendo was impressed.
I hear there's a few technical issues with the Wii pointer in third-party games at the moment, as in they're too sensitive right now. Hopefully the E3 feedback will cause companies to spend the next few months perfecting it.

I can see it now, me waving the controller around trying to slash someone in-game with my sword, and on the floor in pieces my mums big vase. Can't wait.

One thing IGN was complaining about was its sensativity. It was lacking and prevented for 180 turns(well to do them well atleast). It makes scence though. This allows you to make more skilled shots(like shotting a weapon out of someones hand or getting a headshot) easier. That single player will work but they need to increse sensativity if its going to work for multiplayer.
