Tony Hawk's Downhill Jam (Activision) IGN Video: media.revolution.ign.com/media/824/824474/vids_1.htmlI just got finished watching a pretty good intervew at IGN. Sounds like THDJ is going to be a total SSX rip-off! Not that that's a bad, thing. You know how much I love SSX! Anyway, it sounds like it's going to be pretty cool. The graphics look great, and the control sounds fun (as usual). It's supposed to be the beginning of a new franchise. Kind of a spin-off, I suppose. Paul Reiche said they were planning to do sequels "years" down the road. And he confirmed it would be a lunch title. So there's yet another Wii game I have to keep my eye on. I hope I have a small fortune saved up by the time that thing comes out.

It's interesting that they've decided to expand into a new style of skateboarding, downhill. I wonder if street skeletons and luges will also be available.
I also noticed that they used the traditional shell. Does anyone know if it's going to produced for the Playstation 3?

I also noticed that they used the traditional shell. Does anyone know if it's going to produced for the Playstation 3? That's not the shell. They're just holding the remote sideways (NES style). I think you tilt it back and forth to steer. There are DS and GBA versions coming out. I thought I saw it mentioned that there would be a PS3 version, which would make sense if the PS3 controller has its own tilt sensor. However, I can't seem to find where I saw that. It may have been a mistake. I always heard that THDJ would be Wii exclusive.
