Where does it say you'll only play for a little while, and how is turning on a video game every day different from (my) current habits?
That "!!M" is just "Wii" turned 180 degrees. I was trying to read into that before E3 when I was still hoping that the name was just a hoax. Who knows what all those names will be used for, if they're even used at all.

You read wrong. They said they want a console you'll play every day.

Maybe I'm reading a bit into it, but I think thats kind of the point with games like Table Tennis.
As we all know, Nintendo is trying to reach out to people who usually wouldn't play games. These people most likely aren't willing or unable to spend a lot of time on games. So, they play a quick 10 minute game of Table Tennis instead of spending an hour getting through a dungeon in Twilight Princess.

!!M could be an instant message, or it could just be to protect the misuse of the name when used upside-down.
WiiCulture sounds intriguing.
As for the "play every day" - that doesn't mean they will only produce games like Brain Training, Nintendogs and Animal Crossing (which, ironically, I can't be bothered to play every day).
Satoru Iwata has said the WiiConnect24 service will provide new content every day, attracting people to play every day. Being able to pick up emails and find out how your friends are doing will have the same effect.
But think of the DS. The focus is said to be on games you'll play every day - hence games like Brain Training, Animal Crossing and Nintendogs - but they're not Nintendo's exclusive focus. You might be sick of that kind of game, so don't buy them! Go get yourself a copy of New Super Mario Bros., Metroid Prime Hunters or Tetris DS instead!
By the look of it, the Wii's initial lineup is mostly traditional-style games, and the simple, easy-to-play WiiSports. So no need to worry. SSBB, Mario, Zelda and Metroid ought to keep you busy through those long months of "Professor Kawashima's Wii Training" ;D
Pun intended.

Registering names doesn't mean that you have to use them. Here are my guess anyway:
!!M: As Fry said, it's more likely to be a protection or something.
WiiPointer: Probably a final name of Wii Remote.
WiiCulture: Hmm... many possibilities. Maybe it's an online service that is used by Wii, or even it could be an Animal-Crossing-like game.
