Hey guys, I was playing on SSBM ealier today and after fighting my way through some battles I got bored and started randomly selecting different modes. I went to the Trophie Room and it reminded me of somthing thats been bugging me for a while. Call me stupid but, what is that game in the SNES? I know SSB is in the N64 but can someone tell me? A fictional Super Smash Bros for SNES. If you have a JP/US version and turn the language to Japanese, you'll also see this on the Famicom.

Ahh so thats what it is. I would have loved to see a SSB game on the SNES, although it definitely wouldnt have worked without the analogue controls...etc. Thanks for that YL

Yeah, I keep getting stupid emails from people saying "IT'S PROOF, THERE WAS A SMASH BROS. GAME ON SNES!!!!"
I tend to tell them where to shove their stupid heads. ;D

If you look at it closely you can see the character line up on the case - i think i can make out yoshi...yep. Wow you really got emails about that? Are you sure they werent from the guys on Gamefaqs?  |

The characters are the ones in Nintendo 64's Super Smash Bros.
They're just using SSB on 64 as a "base" to make up this pic.
The Famicom one only has the logo, in the 1-colour Famicom game syle, without any character images.

This reminds me. My friend at school had a fan made SSB on his PSP, with NIntendo and other characters like Master Chief, Goku, Naruto, Lara Croft, and Sonic. Pretty cool what people can do these days.  |
