Yes. That is it. I bought Mario Smash Football / Super Mario Strikers.
Actually, this game doesn't give me much Nintendo feel. It loads (duh, and it takes longer time than other average Nintendo games. Much shorter than StarFox Assualt, though), it possesses 3rd party interface (The menu and such give me a feeling like this), and it is realistic (Nintendo has done other realistic games, but I haven't seen one with Mario). Curst that loading time, they accumulated could have allowed me for another match.
I haven't play much out of it yet, but it clearly gives the imge of violent. Anyone could hit any rival players, a success Super Strike could send the Kremling right into the net, and the Kremlings will hit any rival players who enter their zones. Not to mention the electric boarders. Sending rival players there and hear them yell is a great fun, I admit.
This game doesn't give the feeling of soccer / Mario game at some places. First off, if you're skilfully enough, you could make a successful Super Strike as soon as the battle starts, thus getting 2 points in the first 2 seconds. I seriously doubt if it's possible in real soccer.
Then, you can fight anyone in the enemy team but the goalie. I've never seen invincible Kremlings, you know. And I've never seen goalkeepers who keep hitting those entering their areas.
Also, as you know already, this is no soccer game. seriously. All you do is to try to violently put the soccer ball into the opponent's goal. You can hit people, freeze them, bomb them (I don't know what will happen if you do this in real soccer; don't ask me), put banana skin on the ground. You can even throw the ball up, freeze time (this happens a lot for preparing actions in fighting games), and do some ridiclously powerful shots.
While this game is crazy, it is very hard. You can easily let your enemy make 10 goals (I mean it, no exaggeration) to nothing, even when you set the level to amateur (You know, being amateurs doesn't mean they are up to nothing). I strongly suggest you to consider your ability to play action fighting soccer games before buting it. I doubt if there are any other "action fighting soccer" games like this, though. Even if there are, Strikers is the only game in the "Mario action fighting soccer" genre (you know, genres are only being made up. Don't say that I'm wrong on this. I can even make up a genre called "Super Mario Strikers", depending on how I myself categorize them.). Anyway, if you think you're up to action-packed soccer game, you may want to try this. I'm not of this type, but I just want to have this game and Paper Mario TTYD, as well as some others - those will extinct if I don't grip any chance avalible tightly.
Also, on the same day, my cousin got Mario Party 7 and yesterday I just went to his place to play both games.
