Camelot only said they'll be making a game for 11-up. They may or may not leave Nintendo, but that's not really too bad, despite being a Camelot fan.
Two things: Despite making 11 games for Nintendo, they're still a 3rd party. Originally they were part of Sega, if I'm not mistaken. And I think it's natural for them to leave Nintendo.
And then, for those who played the latest Mario Tennis games may (or may not, I do) find out that the quality of their later games has decreased. To make Mario Tennis GC on time, they discarded the GC-GBA link function; and they used 2D for those Peach Dome audiences (although even games with high image quality do this too). And as for Mario Tennis Advance, they killed off the pseudo-3D thing they used to have on other GBA games. And I'm not pleased with the less realistic graphics too.
Thus, even I liked Camelot in the past, I'm not too shattered that they leave, or just working with another company. And note that PC games has nothing to do with console games, so there's a chance.

Camelot isn't a second-party company. They can work with who they want. It's just working with a Nintendo publishing deal is quite a lucrative enterprise. So they're not leaving - they're just working on a game with another developer. Their relationship is the same as Jupiter - they love making Nintendo games, but that doesn't mean they're exclusive. And they don't rule out future projects. Or maybe they're just pissed that they're not involved with WiiSports

Oh for crying out loud - Camelot's game quality has decreased because the stadium is full of 2D spectators? You've gotta be kidding me. The GBA-GC linkup would have been nice, buts it hardly game breaking, either. I like Camelot's game - they're fun and have got great attention to detail, so I hope they don't go too far.

No I'm serious. for the GC/GBA era they've been focusing on the graphics thing, to at least make it looks 3D. And all of a sudden they return to their prior not-as-good graphics? And if you ask me about "having it done quickly" versus "delay but better game", I'd choose the latter.
And actually - curse me if you want - Camelot has worked for Sega, one game for Sony, and recently Nintendo. I think it would be interesting if they work on some game on MS's Xbox. Although I don't want them to really do this.

Nah, Nintendo partially owns Golden Sun. "Second party games" (even if they're by non-second party publishers) tend to be wholly or partially owned by Nintendo. It could still be represented.

About Camelot's games.... Characters and Music reverved by NINTENDO, and Game, Program and Scenario reserved by NINTENDO and CAMELOT. Which basically means they can't make a GS3 without Camelot as they partially hold the right of GS's story. And they can't repeat the same story of Mario Golf and Tennis, which (the story) are again partially held by Camelot. Camelot isn't a second-party company. They can work with who they want. It's just working with a Nintendo publishing deal is quite a lucrative enterprise. Yeah that clears things up. If thats true does that mean Nintendo has no ownership of Golden Sun and it cant be represented in Smash bros.? Counter question: Why do you see FE characters in SSBM then? FE6's rights are reserved by NINTENDO and INTELLIGEMT SYSTEMS, And... Are they the only characters that has nothing to do with Nintendo only or Nintendo and HAL Lab?

Wait are you saying "Camelot was second-party then left and are still doing games with Nintendo" or "Camelot was second party but recently left"

I'm saying that they have been second party all along and I don't think they have completely left Nintendo.
I think Camelot might still be working with Nintendo on some games.
I my self am also confused with it too.
I'm not sure if they were a second or a close developer

They are not a second party. And they never were a second party. They were a close developer, sure, but at no point were they bound by Nintendo exclusivity.
Sounds like they're working on another project with another publisher. They haven't severed ties with Nintendo, they're simply not working on a project with them right now.
Which is fair enough... they were in quite high demand when Nintendo pulled them on board for Mario Golf on the N64.

I remember reading a crazy theory a little while back that Camelot were the secret team involved in Brawl. I liked the theory, so I'm going to spread this around...
ITS A FAKE ANNOUNCEMENT TO THROW YOU ALL OF THE TRAIL.
Actually that would be stupid, but whatever.
