Is Oct 2 the US Release date for Wii or the Japanese Release Date?

We all know it'll be around that sort of time. But Nintendo is intentionally teasing the world at the moment.
Hopefully it will be around then (in which case I expect a late October or early November release for Europe). The earlier the better - Christmas isn't far off now!!

I think Oct 2 might be a little early, but only by a few weeks. I think that press release was just part of the hype machine and probably doesn't actually have the launch date hidden in it.
In any case, we'll be getting our hands on Wiis very soon! (never gets old...)

Actually..... these days I keep checking Nintendo's site to see if the schedule is updated.
And actually, I did this not only for Wii, but also for Super Pper Mario. YES, I still haven't gotten myself over the whole Paper Mario thing.
But actually, I think that even if Wii comes outat a date, it won't be listed before it's really there.
