Want to chat about something you heard on the news today? Well here's the place LOCAL GIRL DONE GOOD Ellen Macarthur has just sailed all around the world in her little boat, and she was the only crew! It was very difficult, but she has managed to beat the world record! And she lives near where I live!!! Congrats Ellen!

P.S. Just been changing my profile on here a bit, could someone go check if my website link is working please? Nope, it doesn't seem to work... When I click the link it leads to fryguy64.proboards27.com/www.freewebs.com/thenintendoguild... Make sure you have http:// in your website URL, otherwise the forum thinks your website is hosted on the forum itself.

Yep, its still in its infancy, but still pretty neat. I did all the "industry news" section and my pal Flamebero is the big designer guy.
The "guild" is actually found on the Neopets website (you know, where you raise/train virtual pets for beauty contests/battle arenas)

Hey I just returned the favour and checked out your website Blueberry! To quote Marty McFly: "I didn't know you did anything creative!"

I will take the liberty to say something that's very non-relevant to all of your lives, but to me, it will always be something which came as a very pleasant surprise.
Both the official site starwars.com and popular fansite theforce.net report that Star Wars: Episode III will be premiered in most of the world on May 19th or later, but that movie theatres in some countries will start to show it on the 18th: France, Belgium, Switzerland, and for some reason...URUGUAY! Finally, living on the world's armpit has paid off! At last, citizens of my country will have something pop-culture-related to be proud of that isn't Homer Simpson misreading our country's name as "U-R-Gay" in "Bart vs. Australia".
I wonder how many fanboys from all over the world will fly down here just to be able to say they saw the film before everyone else.

Well, I'm travelling all the way to NORWICH for it!
Well done that girl as well. We have a nice number of record breakers in this country... and for achievements, rather than "fattest man" or something.

We had a a guy down here do that (here in Australia)... his name escapes me, but he went solo and documented the trip on video - it was great. I think it was about 2 years ago and the guy was only 17 when he did it!
I remember his name now - Jesse Martin.

Good news...good news...why is it so hard to find nowadays?
Ah, here we go: In the UK, Prince Charles of our Royal Family has announced that he's going to marry Camilla Parker-Bowles. Finally! They've been going out for years!!!
The only other good news I've found is that scientists have discovered that eating one carrot a day will significantly help you avoid getting cancer.

I bet there's at least one other paper somewhere out there by a scientist that says "eating one carrot a day will give you cancer" such is the way of the populist science world. As for Prince Charles / Camilla Parker Bowles... so what. Don't give a damn. I have about as much interest in the to's and fro's of royal life as I do in the internal fluid dynamics of mud. ie. none (in case you were wondering...)
