I don't know where this should go, but, I think that the GBA Mother 3 will have a N64-esque look (think Harvest Moon: Friends of Mineral Town). I also think the "Pig King" is Pokey, and he's making a army of robot pigs! I have a lot of EarthBound facts and stuff, and I also think Mother 1&2 could make it to the U. S., but under a name like "EarthBound Deluxe". Mother will keep EBZ content, but name will be changed to Mother, as in "Bonus Game! The prequel to 'EarthBound', 'Mother', previously unreleased! (ya know, because of the EarthBound Zero hack). Now if someone could only get their paws on a Mother 3 prototype.....(growls). Yes, I have random thoughts. See what you think.

I think.... when you're in the full swing of random thoughts, my aging brain is incapable of keeping up with you ;D
I just want there to be a Mother game released in Europe. None of them have made it out here, and it's so weird it would undoubtedly do well (because Europeans are all weird too, see?) But it's more likely we'll get a GBA one first.
Apparently SSBM was originally going to star the hero of Earthbound 64 until the game got canned - then Ness was moved back in to his rightful home.

Why would it need to be based on an existing engine? And even if it was, why would it have to be based on a really crappy engine? Animal Crossing is a great game... but it looks like turd compared to what is possible on the 'Cube.

Although . . . the Mother/Earthbound games of the past have been based in more 'retro' engines. Maybe use the Animal Crossing engine for the DS version of a Earthbound game.

I'm been quite dissapointed with Nintendo's non-importing nature. We missed on Mother 1 & 2 as well as Puzzle Collection! That's unacceptable!
I hope Earthbound comes back. The original's acid-trip atmosphere made it a breath of fresh air from the Fnal Fantasies and Dragon Warriors of the time.

Actually, there was a rumor that Mother 3 would be for the GCN. Anyway, "what is possible" on the GCN could be seen on the new Zelda. On the EarthBound part, because EB64 was so close to the 64DD that when it died (or the original product, by 1999 it was a shadow of what it was supposed to be), EB64 went with it.

No, Earthbound 64 was moved to cart-based development fairly early on. The 64DD's death had nothing to do with the game's failures. It was too glitchy and Shigesato Itoi was more interested in developing for the GBA and Gamecube.
Although show me one game that Itoi-san has worked on for the GBA or Gamecube that hasn't been a remake.

I don't care about what caused EB64 to die, I just want all the others released!
