I hope they bring back the MK64 version of the Blue Shell. I hated the way the blue shell worked in both Double Dash and MKDS.
As for control issues, I'd prefer to use a GC controller than either a wheel or the remote. It feels more natural to me that way. Besides, I prefer playing racing games the 'traditional' way, rather than using any other method.

Just a forewarning, I don't play with snakers. XD I don't care if you do it when we're not having a match, but if you do I'll...um...be very mad at you. And probably won't play with you again XD Assuming Mario Kart is online. Was that confirmed, or am I imagining things? I never said I did it well. I can snake my butt off and still come in last place. ;D

I just hope i can play with the direction pad. in fact, I hate to see games unsupporting the pad. Horray to Kirby Air Ride and Boo to Mario Kart Double Dash!! They don't even allow the D-pad in menus! Is the what the world-famous Nintendo EAD does?

In all fairness whty would you want to use the D-pad on the Gamecudbe controller. It's so small it's not even usuable as a means to control anything.

And the feel is good that you can change direction far easier without the 3D spheric feel. This makes snaking far easier. You don't have to actually turn to the opposite direction; just press another button and you're done.

I hope they bring back the MK64 version of the Blue Shell. I hated the way the blue shell worked in both Double Dash and MKDS. I used to think that too until I DLed MK64 for the Virtual Console. While the wingless Blue Shell has a chance of taking out everyone between you and first place, the Winged Blue Shell can stall the person in first for a longer period of time as well as having a greater chance of affecting anyone else near enough to them. Not to mention that it moves much faster than the wingless version, making come-from-behind victories scarce.

Mario Kart DS improved apon it. It was broken in MK:DD becuase you'd get it in 5-6 and it would cause a lot more damage. It's still bad in DS but you'll actually get it in 3rd or 4th and it isn't as hurtful(does destroy your item though).
I can't wait to see what new items we get. I did see we'll get Bom-ombs again.

I only ever managed to avoid being blasted by the Blue Shell once in MKDD... I think it was a bug though. On Bowser's Castle I power-slid around that sharp bend near the beginning, and the Blue Shell just carried straight on and blew up near the wall.
Never been able to replicate it.

Not going to work, silly! The file name contains the word wizzle, which I'm sure isn't in the original

Nice DiU
BTW, FY\ry. I don't beleive dodgine a Blue Shell is a glitch. There is a split second t\when the shell is coing strieght at you. If you time it right, you'll dodge it and it will keep going. I've done this twice.
