First "Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan", then "Elite Beat Agents", and now Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan 2. Pretty interesting news, but will Nintendo create "Elite Beat Agents 2"? NOTE: If someone already posted a thread about this, then lock this thread.

Personally, I think the Cheer Squad looks a lot cooler than the Elite Beat Agents and wish we could just get a translated version of Ouedan rather than EBA.

Ouendan is full of contemporary Japanese culture. It's also full of Japan-Only songs that not many people outside of Japan ever heard of. Foreign songs are more difficult to translate than plain foreign talks.

I hope so. EBA was a blast, but it didn't sell too well either. It did snag a heaping of awards, though, so we'll see.

I remember when I encountered someone first playing EBA at a Wal*Mart, and they couldn't understand what exactly is EBA about. I tried to tell them what it is and how to play it, but they still couldn't understand it, due to the noise distracting us inside the Wal*Mart. That's probably why EBA didn't sell well enough.

^ That's funny, because the first time I really took notice of EBA was sort of the opposite situation. About a week before the Wii was released, I was at an EB Games playing it for the first time at an in-store display. The entire time I was there, there was this kid next to the display, but I don't think he ever even looked at the Wii. He was totally engrossed in the DS next to it. I didn't know what he was playing, but I thought it was funny that he was more interested in the DS than the Wii. When his friend eventually walked by, he said, "Check this game out! It's awesome! It's like Dance Dance Revolution!" His friend asked him what it was called, and he replied, "Elite Beat Agents." The name stuck in my mind, and I gave it a good looking-into on the Internet when I got home.
I never did get the chance to play it. I considered buying it based on all the good reviews, but I guess I got too busy with Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin.

Nester - I recommend it. ^_^ Although Portrait of Ruin is a fine game, too.

WAY to many Japanese references in Ouenda! Keep in mind that Ouenda didn't sell to well either. In fact, it uprises me they made another one. Most of ity's sales were imports. I think we'll get an EBA2. Reggie will probobly push for it.
