The Legend of Zelda: Ocorina of Time. Or the original Zelda or Link to the Past.
(Admittly you could get Zelda 1 and 2 (Adventures of Link) on the NES with 1000 points).
The games I currently have on my Wii are Lylatwars (Starfox 64) and Kid Icaris.

Uh well, here's your options
1000 points can get you one N64 game, and if you've never played Ocarina of Time, I would highly recommend it. That or Pokemon Snap. Or Mario 64. Or StarFox 64. Yep, any of those.

Give us an idea of what games you like. Well I really like Mario Bros. but my uncle has a Super NES with all 3 super mario bros...so I won't buy that...I can play it anytime I want...though I just bought Kid Icarus...It's really cool...and I also bought 1000 more Wii shop points. So I have 1500 in total...what should I get?

Actually, I, myself, also finally got my Wii online, and the choice of VC games can seem a little overwhelming, so I understand you dilemma. I've only gotten one so far: Devil's Crush, because I've always wanted to play it, and I never bothered to track down the Genesis version. I'm gonna save the rest of my Wii points until I'm specifically in the mood for something. I've got a few ideas, tho. However, here are a few resources you can check out for some opinions on most (if not all) VC titles. IGN Wii has reviewed a large number of VC games. The Virtual Console Archive is specifically dedicated to news and reviews of VC games. Virtual Turbo is specifically dedicated to reviewing the VC's Turbo Grafx-16 library. Sega-16, while not specifically about the VC, has a comprehensive Genesis/Mega Drive review archive. Neo Geo For Life is a good comprehensive fan site for the Neo Geo. So, if you want to research some titles that you think you might be interested in, these sites could be somewhat helpful.

Heh, I know the guy who runs Sega-16. Nice guy. With the points you've got, I would suggest Super Metroid (if you haven't played it, it is a must!) and, if you like Kirby, Kirby's Adventure (my favorite!). Both are excellent. Otherwise, I've put up my thoughts on the VC lineup on my site, but Nester's links are great choices. Personally, I like 1Up's Retro Roundup, but it hasn't been updated in the last three weeks.

Sin and Punishment, Sin and Punishment, Sin and Punishmen, Sin and Punishment...
Kid Icarus if you don't want S&P... or Paper Mario. All three are fantastic games, really. Gunstar Heroes too
