None of the stores had it; they were just getting their copies today. Apparently Wal-Mart has it, but GameStop convinced me that if I reserved my copy there I would be guaranteed one tomorrow morning as well as that nifty coin.
I regret not having it today in my hands, but considering I won't be distracted from my work for another day (and the first three days of the week are always the "hump" regardless), it's not too bad. Tomorrow afternoon I'll be playing this puppy nonstop (till I have to go to lab >.>...), but yeah! Can't wait!

Tomorrow, though, I'll trade in a bunch of games I no longer plan to keep (Pokémon Ranger, Yoshi's Island DS, Avatar: The Last Airbender--I'm looking at all of you, you sub-par excuses for a video game experience) since there's a 20% trade in bonus towards Galaxy, reduce my cost for the game even further. w00ts. |

So with my trade-ins and the money I'd previously put down on it, I only wound up paying $10 out of pocket for the game. I decided to pick up a 3-Month subscription extension to XBox Live in the meanwhile--I'll forgo any other games for the time being, since I expect Galaxy to keep me occupied for a little while longer.
Also, preordering had some extra bonuses aside from being able to pay off some of the game in advance; I also got this nifty commemorative coin and a Super Mario coloring book. I love coloring books, haven't owned a proper one since I was a kid~
Also, third Galaxy unlocked and 23 stars gotten XD Gotta play more when I get home.
