Mario Galaxy is so close, you can almost taste it! So will you rush out and buy it on the launch day? Or do you have the patience to wait until christmas?
Personally, I'm getting it at launch. I've pre-ordered it ready, and I've even managed to book the day off work!

It's out on the 16th here, and I'll be getting it straight off the bat. My Wii has been horribly neglected for about a year, and this game will be just what I need to get excited about it again.

Eh, I'll have to wait awhile until I have the money for it. But I'm saving up for Brawl now so I don't think I'll get Galaxy until after Brawl.

I'd like to get the game as soon as possible, but unfortunately that depends on when I get paid again. I spent all my money on my Endless Ocean preorder last week.
Oh man, I should stop spending money the minute I get it. I'm lucky my parents feed me.

Pre-order get! I should have it next week sometime. I got my shiny new Wii on Halloween, so I'm jazzed about being able to finally play Mario Galaxy a lot sooner than I expected!

I have little interest in getting this one off the bat. I got tired of 3D Mario platformers about two or three months after Super Mario 64 came out, so I'm just not excited about this one. In fact, I won't be buying any first party software until Smash Bros. Brawl hits the shelves.
Until then, I think third parties will continue to keep me occupied.

I'm pretty sure I'll get it at launch to save on my Christmas budget. My Wii has been horribly neglected for about a year, and this game will be just what I need to get excited about it again.

Curses, Spud beat me to it!
Anyway, I'm getting mine at launch. I have a $20 preorder on it, so maybe I'll be able to pick up Megaman ZX Advent or a used copy of Saint's Row at the same time. Or an XBox Live account extension, since mine expires on the 17th...not like I'll be playing it much thanks to Galaxy.
Hmm, decisions, decisions...
Anyway, I've been fortunate enough to have discovered WarioWare: Smooth Moves in September, so that's been keeping my Wii warm and active. Virtual Console titles have been driving me predominantly throughout the first two thirds of the year, though, so I could use a new title to keep my Wii solid. Ah, blessed firmware! ♥

Elebits and the Virtual console releases of the Streets of Rage series has seen my wii touched up on a regular basis BTW, has anyone seen any cool pre-order incentives for Galaxy? I don't seem to get any cool stuff for Pre-ordering with GAME

I got an awesome one.
At Toys R Us, I get what Kotaku promises is a 25 dollar gift card when I get the game. BEAT THAT.

I can get a strategy guide (that I wouldn't use) and $20 off the game if I preorder. Doesn't beat a gift card worth 50% of the game cost but eh, better than nothing.
Or I could do some trading in with some Wii Plays and get it for cheaps. Thats probably what I'll do.

As I mentioned in the other Mario Galaxy thread, you get a special collectable coin if you pre-order it from participating retailers (i.e. Gamestop). Toys R Us has a nice bonus for picking up the game at launch in-store, which Masa mentioned already.

I don't even know if I can afford a Wii in time for Brawl, but luckily the townhouse has a surrogate Wii my roommate's girlfriend leaves around. Picking up Galaxy tomorrow with a birthday giftcard. The mall opens at 9:30, so I'm jumping right in as soon as I can.
