For those of you who like to pay attention to official announcements of new Pokémon, it's the turn of Darkrai to appear in English-speaking media! Just like in past years, a silhouette or a related item of the Pokémon that is going to be revealed is added to the main page of the Pokémon.com Flash site if you reload it enough times.  Darkrai, the Pitch-Black Pokémon, is the star of the 10th Pokémon movie which was released this year in Japan as "Dialga vs. Palkia vs. Darkrai" and whose English name might be revealed soon. It's expected that this event Pokémon be legally available (other than by trades with your friends) sometime around the release of its movie, during the first half of 2008. |

Darkrai's English name is Darkrai. I've had one on my DS since about a month after DP's release.  |

I mean the English name of the movie, lol. Any ideas for it?
And I realize this was probably better suited under NinDB general, but hey, it means a bonus for people who prefer getting Darkrai in a future event or don't have another way to get it and live in... privileged countries.

I really need to finish that game off I assume you are referring to Pokemon, and in that case...GET A MOVE ON, MAN!! You don't know what you're missing. I actually thought the game got better after the Elite Four... |

Since the GBA generation, I don't enjoy Pokémon games until after the Elite Four, which is why I haven't beaten it yet. Beating gyms and the rival team feels like a chore that must be completed before the good stuff starts, and it's tough to force myself through. |

Yeah, I'd just get a lvl 100 off of WiFi to beat the Elite Four, then I'd do the real training. |

I've been lazy about exploring beyond Route 224 because I decided to train a whole new team of non-Sinnoh Pokémon. All I know is during the credits of the Japanese version, they hint at the 11th movie being about Regigas. That one will have Giratina, too. As announced a few days ago, its translated name is Giratina and the Sky Bouquet. That's probably another hint of a Shaymin appearance, right? |

For nearly one month, Darkrai's shadow was unseen in the main Flash site of Pokémon.com. However, it has been sighted again since January 11th. The appearances of the shadow (whose shape is different now) are not random this time and will happen everytime you load the page. The shadow moves around for an instant, leading you up to the main animation near the top of the page, where a bigger version of the shadow appears and the text "WHO IS THIS POKÉMON?" is displayed.  According to rumors, an English title for the 10th Pokémon movie has already been decided. Some sources claim that it's going to be " Rise of Darkrai" and similar names. I must be old if I'm still recalling all the speculation on how to unlock Celebi of all Pocket Monsters that pop into mind. Me and my friends were all trying to figure out if a rumor that it was hiding behind a lamp post in the woods behind Bugsy's town was true and so forth.
