after two years without one, I finally got a new DS.
Now I just need to rebuy the games that were stolen, as well as the games I missed throughout the past two years. what would you recommend? It was stolen a few days after the release on Animal Crossing Wild World.

The ones with asterisks are the ones you need.
Mario Kart DS * Pokemon D/P * Super Mario 64 DS Elite Beat Agents Feel the Magic Sonic Rush Animal Crossing WW * Zelda PH * Metroid PH * New Super Mario Bros * Phoenix Wright Tetris DS WarioWare Touched
I can't remember when the games were released but...yeah.

I had Mario Kart DS, Super Mario 64 DS, Feel the Magic, Sonic Rush, and Animal Crossing Wild World back then and I surely intend on rebuying them. But I'll be sure to look into those others too. I played Wario Ware Touched! and I enjoyed it, as well as a slight bit of Phantom Hourglass in GameStop. And naturally, I can say that I have Metroid Prime Hunters First Hunt, so technically I played MPH too. The games I got now are Metroid Prime Hunters: First Hunt Pac-Pix (somewhat alright) Nanostray (may one day be a collector's item, plus a pretty good space shooter) Sprung (which is just terrible) Nintendogs Lab (great for a dog person) Yoshi Touch & Go (great, but really should be cheaper in general)

Phoenix Wright and its many sequels... Phantom Hourglass, New Super Mario Bros. and Mario Kart DS (all DS's should be accompanied by the list so far). After that, I dunno... depends if you like puzzlers, platforms, rhythm-action or what. The DS is waffly versatile

Well, I'm really into anything, except specific sports (football, pretty much, most other sports are great - and I've even made exceptions with that and played some good football games.)
But yeah, I'm open to any recommendation, as I'm an all around gamer

I still need to pick up Phantom Hourglass and NSMB myself. But might I suggest picking up Mr. Driller Drill Spirits? It's a cheap buy and great for long rides.

IMO, if you wanna go cheap and great, I'd rebuy Feel the Magic. I saw it at Gamestop or something for like $10. It's such an amazing game, but very few people gave it a try... Also Flip, WHY HAVEN'T YOU PLAYED THOSE TWO YET!? GET OUT THERE, MAN!

You might have heard about this already but Nanostray 2 comes out to the DS next year and looks to be better than the original.
Also did anyone buy the Feel the Magic sequel, "The Rub Rabbits!"

I strongly recommend playing all 3 Pheonix Wright games in order. Awesome experience.
Then there's Pokemon D/P...

No one's mentioned them yet, but they need to be mentioned.
Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin (and Dawn of Sorrow) and, if you like a challenge, Contra 4. They're among my favorite DS games.

Had Mr. Driller Drill Spirits Great game, definite rebuy. The games I previously had which I don't anymore (planning on buying again, even the bad ones, just for collection value) are as follows Feel the Magic Mr. Driller Drill Spirits Mario Kart DS Super Mario 64 DS Sonic Rush Retro Atari Classics Ping Pals and I'm probably overlooking a title. I got all the cases to them still, except Sprung, which I still have that I bought card only for about five dollars.

I've played and gotten to the final world of NSMB, but something about it just makes me not want to finish it. I don't know if it's because it isn't the "REBIRTH OF SMB3" that I thought it would be or that I just don't want to lose the rush of beating "one last 2D Mario..." I'll pick it up when it's good and cheap. I'm very stingy with my purchases and I don't have much of an expendable income, and since the gravy train of youth (a video game at my birthday and a video game at Christmas) ended a few years ago I basically only get the games I MUST HAVE upon release. So the console Zeldas, console Marios, and main Pokemon games. Everything else I buy used or just borrow. That being said, I do own a lot of Gamecube games and intend to get a lot of Wii titles when I do finally buy a Wii. I'm like the only guy without one that I know of anymore... It sucks to be so friggin' centless
